Noob- Placing Images in my email body, not as attachments.

Sending out emails to local business owners. Some I'm calling to get their email address, and others are scraped. Im using a gmail acct with yesware attached as a contact email. As Im not doing HUGE volume- like 50 or less at a time, can I do it from gmail, or should i consider a service? Prefer a free one. I want 3 images in the body of the sales letter, and not as attachments. What is the best way of doing this?
As this is for selling direct mail, the images are a map of the routes, an image of the direct mail piece in the mailbox, and the last as a moch-up of the direct mail piece- simple.

    you can use Amazon ses for sending this volume. use any front end script to manage list and attractive newsletters creation.

    You could try mail merges with Microsoft Word - not sure about compatibility with Gmail as I've always used Outlook... But you can plan a nice selling email with mail merges
