Hi there,

Once the subscribers opts in to your list, the main task is to provide them with a series of follow up emails so you build a long term relationships with them. What are the best practices for making follow ups a success?

    Hi.

I don't know what ALL the best practices are, and I'm still fairly new at this, but I can tell you what's worked for me.

My opt-in is a free, seven day e-course. By offering an e-course subscribers feel like they're getting something of value and they also get a glimpse of my expertise.

At the end of the e-course subscribers receive a link to a quick survey asking what they thought of the course. This gives me feedback so I know whether I need to make any changes to the content. Thus far all responses have been positive.

After the course, subscribers receive weekly broadcast emails from me that directs them to my blog where I continue to educate them and market to them.

That's how I do it and I've gotten some great feedback from my subscribers.

    Hi Omer Farooq,
Have a nice day with a nice post. First time you may send well come news letter with your introduction. If you preapere & design a eye catching template for your news letter, then you get a good open rate. You may send your news letter weekly. If possible, you send your news letter at the weekend . On holiday your subscriber easily open your mail & they read it in relax mode. I hope you may get best result..

    hi,

in order to build a long term relationship use a good auto-responder for sending welcome emails. after this step you can send weekly newsletter to your subscribers and don't forget to send some good offers or values.
always take a feedback from your subscribers to enhance your service.

    hope this will be helpful.

    thanks

    Stories brother stories.

Stories are what makes relationship happen over email. Of course you have to give them content to add value.. .

But if you simply go on sending free content for a month or two a time will come they will not try your paid product.

I mean why would they? They have all they need so why buy?

    Instead send them teaser emails.

Use your daily life events to tell stories to connect with them.

And do this on daily basis, you will soon see your open rates skyrocket.

        What ??
No disrespect but it really is counterproductive to write things that are really hard to understand.

The fact of the matter is using Stories in your Email Follow Ups is a great way to build connections with your Subscribers.

There is absolutely no question about that.

When you provide facts and valuable content and on top of this you touch the emotions of your readers in a poignant and positive way you are setting yourself up with long term engagement. Which ultimately will lead to sales and revenue
