Tow questions about email marketing...

HI, everyone

I want to ask two questions about email marketing. My first question was discussed many times but still I want to ask as there is too much changes in last few years regarding communication. So, please reply both questions. Thanks in advance.

1) Is email marketing dying? : I know this question was asked many times, but from few years peoples are using mobiles and now they rely on Whatsapp like apps for communicating which is fast to access. It seems that opening a email and reading it is little outdated (Please correct me if wrong) Experienced email marketers may know that email opening and click rate decreased from few years. So, If a newbie starts building list, is it waste of time or it is very hard to get response sending emails?.

2) Can I use wordpress plugin for email marketing : If email marketing is not dying can I use wordpress plugin to send emails, newsletter. I have recently found such plugin that sends emails, newsletter so that I have not to pay monthly for costly autoresponders like Aweber. Can I use such plugin. I doubt that after few versions from wordpress it will be get unreponsive.

Please guide me in this issue.

Thanks
- Pradeep

    1. NO. If you know that this question was asked many times, why do you create another thread to ask the same exact question. Didn`t you get your answer from all the other threads??
Are you communicating business related stuff through Whatsapp? I would like to see that person that manages to sell a single thing through Whatsapp. If you point me to him I will donate to you all my revenue from the next 12 months...
    2. You could use an WordPress plugin to send emails, but your best option here is to use MailChimp. (and no, I didn`t give you this answer because I have WordPress)

    1) To answer the first question although i agree that internet marketing is changing i do not believe that it is dying. I refer you to an article i read with statistics called7 Statistics That Prove Email Marketing Isn't dead: - 7 Statistics That Prove Email Marketing Isn't Dead

    2) Yes. To my knowledge. You can use wordpress for email marketing. I believe there is a plugin called SendPress. A Newsletter Plugin for WordPress to create, send, manage and track your Newsletters in one place. It has a free version.

    1) Email marketing is not dying, it is changing. You have to be more strategic and focus on providing value in your emails.

    2) You're better off using Getresponse and Aweber which are proven and tested autoresponders. If you're doing online marketing correctly, you will have no problem affording your monthly autoresponder fee.

      1. Email marketing is dying to spammers. Those who are just flogging their to people expecting them to buy after providing no value. People are smart. They aren't falling for the dumb crap they once used too just clicking on anything & then falling for the sales pitch.

      2. Stay away from softwares & such plugins. They'll not only cause problems for your site but most impotantly you'll likely be marked as spam & that'll be the end of your email marketing days. Invest the minimum to get into a professional autoresponder.

I covered it in a free email marketing course i put together. Lemme know if you want access to it its free but it'll help you along your journey some.
Thanks Sam for straight advise. That is what I expecting. Please PM me your course, It will be great help to me. Thanks for your helping words. I also thanks all commented above.
