I'm in the process of gathering research into the challenges most commonly faced by marketers when executing email campaigns. What are yours? And what role do your play in the process? (Job title?) Looking forward to a spirited discussion!

    Hi,
You may try with mail chimp or Get respond auto res ponder. All the both is easier, friendly software then others for email campaign. Many more eye caching template are available here. If you create a worth full news letter for your campaign I think your campaign will be successful. I like & use both of the tools for email campaign. Open rate of Mail chimp comparatively better then Get response Software.

    Thanks & Regards...

I know I get frustrated when date-rapists don't even offer to buy me dinner first.

    Challenges faced in email marketing:
    1. Integrating email data with other data systems.
    2. Improving deliverability.
    3. Growing and retaining subscribers.
    4. Achieving measurable return on investment (ROI).
    5. Using email for funnel optimization

I would say the most frustrating thing is having a stupendous e-mail with a great headline, and the offer of the decade....and only 5% of your audience opens your e-mail!

    ;-)

    Wishing you all the best,

    Pat

I never send to my entire list at one time. But some of my lists range from 30,000 subscribers to 40,000 subscribers. There are times it takes 4 to 5 hours for a single email campaign to send to one of these lists.

I really have to watch how I schedule my emails if I want to send to more than one list.

This is one reason I use more than one autoresponder for my lists.

Back in the early days around 2003, I had 4 computers in the basement that did nothing but send emails. I'm so happy that the cpu clocks have gotten so much faster. I use to get in trouble with my hosting company because I slowed down the server so much.

Another problem is when you send so many emails your from email address will get sold to spam list and these spammers will then begin spoofing your email address. That email address has to be deleted and another created.

    Best regards,
    Steve Yakim

The biggest frustration people have is writing emails.

They have no idea what to write.

They're unsure of their skills. They're afraid to hit send.
