Simple method to increase opens, clicks, and sales!

I originally posted this in a private Facebook group I am a part of. Someone asked how can you revive a dead list and I told them the following...

This will doesn't just work for reviving a dead list, it can also be used to increase the response from your list (higher opens, clicks, and sales)

"I did this to help my list opens and clicks go up.

Learned it from Frank Kern in List Control.

It's called a Goodwill Campaign.

You basically figure out what are the BIGGEST problems or questions the people in your niche or market have.

Then you make 3-4 videos (all value no pitch) helping people with those issues.

The trick is to not give away too much information.

People are lazy. People get bored quick.

Give little golden nuggets that they can implement straight away and get results.

Then, you just mail out those videos through the course of a week.

Super simple. Nothing fancy.

For example:

Subject: This is crazy!
Message:
Just shot this quick video that I think you're really going to like.

If you're struggling with generating traffic online you need to click here.

In this video I show you a super simple method to get a hundred visitors to your website by tonight.

Fun stuff smile emoticon

Talk soon,
YourName
(Hyperlink as much text as you can in the email btw.)

Send an email for each video you shoot.

Make sure you remail unopens aswell."

Hope that helps

Thank you for taking your time to write this post.

I really like free stuff, so I can relate. If information is free and very informative, I access it fast and get what I need to done, fast. I don't have to create an account. I don't have to swipe my card. etc, and so on.

If I get used to working with one particular author's work - and the work is extremely helpful, I buy their product.

Should you put a description of the video link in the email so the recipient knows what to expect?

If so, how long should the description be? Do you think it would help if the description is vague... kind of like upworthy.com's titles?

Curiosity is key in this! Give them enough for them to be interested in clicking over but not too much that they'll be like "nah this is probably not for me".
