Building Email List on blog

Hi warriors,

So I have been running this review blog in the health niche for some time now and want to upstep my email collecting efforts.

Been trying to give out bonuses but not that's not giving me much.

Any ideas how I can generate a list on my health review blog

Thanks

I have the same problem. I have quite a huge email list that my friend give me but they are not my targeted audiences - almost in web design field. So, I really want to exchange my list with someone else.

Create the "thing of value" you will offer. It could be a report, Ebook, mini course, psd file, wordpress template, free app, software, that provides very valuable information related to your blog content and put a form in your blog post requesting their email address to access it. Or write a blog post giving 6 tips to doing something and then put only 3 in the blog post then refer then to the ebook for the remaining 3 tips.

Try to post some free services so that more people get interest to signup in your blog. It may help you. You can share your blog in other blogs but make sure those blogs are related to yours.

    thank you so much.

If your using WordPress I recommend using Thrive Leads (https://youtu.be/5lyTor9Seek) to create smart attractive opt-in forms.

You need to keep in mind that the value you are offering for free must be worth more than the person's email.

Since everyone is giving out PDF's, I personally give out free video training and list of recommended business tools instead.

With Thrive Leads it also allows you to lock content which I found to be a very useful feature.
You create a blog post with something handy that someone wants but in order for them to see the locked content it they will need to enter their email.

So in terms of health, you may want to create or find a PDF with healthy recipes and add an opt-in form for it within your blog posts.
You may also want have a different offer on your main page, a short video for example that shows exercises that everyone should be doing to live a healthy life.

Now that I think about it, Quicksprout (Neil Patel) has a blog that shows the exact methods he used on a health related website to try to earn $100000 in a year. I highly recommend that you give it a read.

I did a quick Google Search for you to find all the blog posts.

Keep doing what you are doing that's a good start, but if this strategy doesn't work for you then try a different one. You can look on other site, just to get an idea though of what they offer then see if you can offer something better. Analyze your top competitor.

have you tried facebook advertising? You need to have a good content on health and wellness, title should be catchy (top 10 amazing facts about weightloss that you have not heard before, or something like that) then on your landing page, you have a pop up optin promoting your free bonus and there will be a good chance people will sign up to your list

on facebook, create a clicks to website campaign and target interest related to health and wellness

if your article has great content, it has a good chance to get shared then go viral which can lower your cpc on your campaign

I would say create something of value you can give to your audience. Since its health it can be a free e-book on how to lose weight, a weight lose strategy, etc. Make sure its real value that they can apply to right away. Use a opt-in form or capture page to gather their email in exchange for their email.

    Hopes thi helps,

It's important to have a e-mail list. They are your targeted audience whom you need to attract and give good customer service.
