How to tell if I have a buyers list..

Hi,

If I am an affiliate with no way of putting a tracking pixel on the thankyou page of an oto or any other offer, how do I know if someone purchased?

I don't own any products so don't have access to thankyou pages.

How do other affiliates know they have a buyers list if they don't own any products? Is there a way around this?

    The offer you are promoting will be using tracking of the visitors you send to the offer using cookies. This way when a purchase is made the promoter will know its from you. That is why when people do reviews of affiliate programs they tell people to clear their browsing history and cookies to ensure the sale is attributed to them.

    Whether or not you have a buyers list will depend on your relationship with your email list. The way to ensure they are responsive is to provide content and offers but be clear when you are promoting an offer. Make sure you provide additional content to accompany the offer.

    The other way you can check if you have a buyers list is to use surveys. Using surveys correctly will identify the buyers in your list and give you insight into what it is they are looking for, This insight will also come from the content you share and insight you provide.
