Is using an email spider which scrapes email ids from various social sites pertaining to the niche that you want a more effective and fast way of email marketing than the traditional squeeze page .

    Your likely to collect spam traps and get spam complaints that will end up getting your IPs blocked or autoresponder account terminated.

    You can buy lists of users that have provided permission to receive 3rd party messages, however finding a list will be much harder if it's a small niche, as it may not exist.

    For the past 16+ years, I've been buying data(email) and monetizing it, but I strictly promote offers that have mass appeal and are typically free offers. Because they have much greater potential to produce high volume / conversions over trying to sell a single product or service.

    Last but not least, there is more that goes into it than just buying a list and mailing it, which for many isn't always feasible to do.
