Finally Created My First List

I finally setup my first email list and I got my signup form to popup when any page opens. I am very excited! I know that email marketing is a huge opportunity!

    Very good to hear. Email marketing is very very powerful. Make sure that you build up a relationship with your subscribers and don't just go crazy on 'em right away.

    Be pretty regular with your mailings too, make sure that they don't forget who you are. Link to valuable content related to the specific niche that they signed up for - show them that you are helpful.

    I agree with noah you have to maintain a solid relationship with and mail them regularly so as to profit from your list.

    It's awesome that you got your email list set up, especially in the early stages of your site. I lost out on so many potential subscribers because I took forever to start my newsletter. I don't know why it took me so long to add a newsletter to my site.

    But, since you've already got yours set up, you'll be able to draw in subscribers right from the start.

    By the way, are you offering some sort of incentive like an opt-in report or exclusive content for people who join your list, or is it more of a "subscribe if you want updates" type of newsletter?

    I'm just wandering, because I've found having some sort of clear, convincing incentive is an effective way to get people to sign up.

      I don't have an incentive yet other than they keep up-to-date with all the information that I am using, shortcuts, and what I found that works. As soon as I create something that is valuable and effective, I'll use that.
