What platform solo ads sellers usually use

I want to know what platform solo ad sellers usually use to send clients email to their list

Do they use email marketing solution like Aweber, getreponse

or, 3rd party SMTP server like amazon ses, mailgun

or, self-hosted SMTP server

or, something else


also, want to know if there is a way to track how many optin's the client getting.
Sometime they claim to get less optins, but the fact is different

    99% of the time it will be the big two you mentioned, aweber or getresponse which both track opt ins.

    I think most of them use Getresponse or Aweber
    Very few I know that use self autoresponders.

    While it is true that many use aweber and getresponse, they will use a self hosted mailer as well.

    One fairly well known solo ad mailer that I'm on their list, their mail is always sent using phpmailer.

    One big mailer that I'm on multiple lists, I see that they send using aweber, getresponse, phpmailer and Interspire.

    Most big guys will have multiple accounts and multiple solutions to get mail sent.

      So true.
      Once aweber discovers you're a solo person. U'reply account is shut down. That's why they mix it with selfhosted solution
