Hi,

Anyone here setup an autoresponder email (thank you email ex. Thank you for purchasing my wso...) when someone purchase your wso??

I want to know that if i setup new autoresponder email, other subscribers that already in my list, they will receive this email or not?

    Of course not.
    It depends to your paying system. Personally I use DLGuard for my WSO. I connected my PayPal account to DLGuard. When somebody purchase my product, DLGuard send him/her a thank you email and product automatically. You can connect your autoresponder to WSO as well to collect their email address as well but in my opinion it is not necessary because DLguard collect your customer's email address as well so at the same time you send them a thank you message and your product and collect their email address.     No - existing subscribers won't receive autoresponder series automatically. But if your email marketing tool offer such option to send autoresponder emails to existing subscribers then you can do it easily.

    Existing customers will not be a part of your auto responder, to make sure you need to create workflow with a set of rules in your email marketing automation.

    Eg: If anyone get added in "All buyers" list, then send them "Thanks you email" and If anyone is already in the "All buyers" list don't send them "Thank you email".

      Thank you emails are good to give instructions to your subs. Just in case there's a chance they don't see your email in their inbox, you tell them how to confirm their subscription.

      You want double opt-ins because you know for sure this person is serious about joining your mailing list. After you give them instructions you can offer a product. If they buy, you made a sale. If not, they may buy later once they go through your sales funnel and gain that trust. How do you gain trust? You either solve a problem, enlighten your subs, or point them in a direction they want to go with a better chance.

      If you want to see this process in action, join a mailing list and see how they get you to earn their trust and buy... If you do buy from the list you join.

    You need to look for a tool which offers building scenarios for sending emails, I mean triggers. Then, for example, when you have a trigger type - purchase of a product, an email is automatically sent when someone buys something. I know Campaigner and Act-on have this, but perhaps you can find something cheaper.
