Any experience with insty.me mailing?

I was wondering if anyone has anything to share about insty.me.
The offer hosting that includes a self hosted autoresponder sending through
amazon ses. As aweber is going through some rough times (low deliverability, low opens and ctr) I keep wondering about alternatives.
Self hosted mail server is a lot of hassle and tech issues, and will not keep you safe from being blacklisted so I was thinking maybe this insty.me could be something.
Only, usually if someone offers several solutions in one, in this case hosting and mailing, usually, one thing they do well and the other is just tacked on and doesn't work at all that well.
Anyone using their hosting & mailers? Or anything similar that you found worked well?
