What Are The Best Free Email Marketing Services?

Hey fellas,

I have been on the lookout lately for some FREE and Decent Email marketing service that allows you to:

✓ Send Automated follow-up messages(Autoresponders)
✓ Allows you to promote your own offers and affiliate offers
✓ have higher deliverability rates
✓ Automatically removes Subscribers who mark you as ''Spam''
✓ Import and Export your subscribers manually

...And so far, I have been using Listwire, but I have been turned-off by their intrusive Ads on the Thank you page... I tried to opt-in myself to see how the user experience is like; and Even after you click on the ''No Thanks'' for the offers, it automatically redirects you to an offer page about making money online!

So, I can say that so far I'm considering the following Email Services:

✓ BenchMark
✓ MailChimp

Please let me know if there's any other better free alternatives?

Thank you

First off, MailChimp disallows affiliate marketing, read their Terms of Use.

I don't know about BenchMark, though.

However, why on Earth would you want to use a free email service provider?

You are better off paying for an ESP.

After all, you can literally lose your list without warning if they decide they don't want their service being used commercially.

In any case, you can get started with GetResponse for $15/month... that's 50 cents a day.

Why try to save a few measly dollars when the cost is that you can lose your email list, which can be worth a small fortune?

Don't make the mistake of being penny wise and pound foolish.

If you can't find 50 cents a day to pay for a much greater degree of control over one of the biggest assets you can ever build online, you shouldn't even bother with internet marketing.

Just trying to help you here.

    Regards,
    Daniel

WOW! That is obviously NOT helpful at all... Just because I don't have enough money to invest in a paid Autoresponder, doesn't mean that I shouldn't bother with Internet Marketing!

I expected some answers like this, I have heard them countless times. And to be honest, They are more destructive than helpful.

        How is my answer destructive?

I'm trying to encourage you to invest in an asset you have much greater control over.

Incidentally, you say you can't afford a paid autoresponder, is that really true?

YES! There is more to life than a high priced Autoresponder. Not everyone who gets into business, has enough money to invest...

Anyway, thanks for your help... I guess I will have to try this Benchmark Email:

          Free-for-life plan and nonprofit discount

Benchmark Email offers a free-for-life plan that allows you to send 10,000 emails per month at absolutely no cost. Incredibly, free-for-life customers get full access to virtually all of the company's tools and features, including email templates, email tracking, drag-and-drop editing, and much more. The only drawback to the deal is that you can only send emails to people who subscribe using the sign-up form associated with your account. This means you can't upload your current email contact list, which you would be able to do with a paid account. Instead, you have to insert a sign-up form on your website or Facebook page to build your contact list organically. If you're just getting started, this deal is hard to beat. Another nice bargain is available to registered nonprofit organizations, who can save 25% on their monthly bill if they open a fee-based account.

            Fair enough.

While I wouldn't say that autoresponders are "high priced", if you really can't afford it, then go ahead with Benchmark.

But be sure to at least invest in a paid autoresponder once you're making enough money with the free one.

            You'll be glad you did.

I totally dis-agree with that. After spending bucks on a website and then looking into an auto responder service I have to say that what people want is "control" warmth and time to process what is going on. 30 days fly by very quickly. If you do nothing, you continue to spend $ you suppose to be earning. So, why not graduate your needs instead of putting the horse before the cart - "sort of speak". From that experience this is what I learned. THERE are sites out there where you can purchase space for like $10 a year as apposed to $10 a month (hostgator). So, get the 1 year site at $10 - makes sense?

For the auto responder? Heck if you have to put in 1 hour a day to begin with, then respond manually!

When it makes sense to get the advance degree or $10 a month autoresponder- common sense will take over. That's how to make $.

Making money by giving it away just does'nt work. This is what I think. DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. But if you are crazy, love to solve problems, like writing code and BTW- there is code free that already does this as buzinesses do this everyday- Do the MATH- in other words, DO THE HOME WORK.

#1 - There are so many people out there that will tell you about this, that and the butterfly rules and regs.
#2 - Sure it is easier said than done, but if you do it right- like make a lot of mistakes and know when to cut loose from home based to professional base- using your own home made responder will not hurt anyone as long as you are not doing a billion or million or hundred thousand dollars a month with a gmail or yahoo account. Get real.
#3 - Free is not easy, free is hard- remember that your time is $ and doing stuff for free is not free.

That's about all I have to say about that.

So- how do you solve such things. Two Word,. Microsoft Access! The perfect product for using your current email provider to auto respond to your prospects 1 to 1.

How are these free autoresponder companies going to make money? When you get something for free, you and/or your subscribers are going to be the product. If they don't make money some way, they would not be in business.

Just spend the $20 a month for a paid AR and get busy making money to pay the monthly cost. It just a cost of running a business.

I see what you mean. Of course, I won't be using Email marketing for FREE forever, I just want to find a platform that allows you to have something like the first 2000 Subscribers for FREE. And then it will be easier to upgrade, because you will find it easily to cover the expenses of a paid AR.

Contrary to common belief, this is probably the best thing to do, Besides from MailChimp, there are a lot of Email marketing providers that allow you to do this. Such as Benchmark Email and Mailrelay.

Benchmark Email allows you to send 14,000 monthly Emails and up to 2000 Subscribers(unlike MailChimp, they allow you to use their Autoresponder Series), and then there's Mailrelay which allows you to send 75,000 monthly Emails and up to 5000 Subscribers for Free!

So, what do you think ?

I personally prefer to pay for services. When you get them free, they ARE making money some way. Usually off of you or your subscribers.

Think about it. Would you set up a service and give it away for free while paying all the bills? You would be losing money. So you would need to make money off of the user some how.

A free trial? Now that would be different. You would be investing in a future purchase within a reasonable amount of time.

Yes, I understand what you're trying to say. No one would setup a valuable service and give it away for free, while paying all the bills themselves... Yes, but Mailrelay isn't FREE, unlike Listwire, they have other paid plans for larger lists, but they say they are trying to offer this FREE Accounts, in order to increase their social media presence and brand exposure.

In short, they want to differentiate themselves from other Autoresponders and create a buzz in the IM world, by giving away one of the best FREE AR Accounts in the business of Email marketing!

At the current moment, they are offering up to 75,000 monthly sends and a massive and generous 15,000 Subscribers for FREE! (No catch, but you just have to follow them on social media).

I understand that you prefer to pay for services... But you need to think Smart and take advantage of AWESOME Services other small and unknown companies are giving away to compete with the big boys

These free offers always attract tons of spammers creating tons of free accounts. Deliver-ability goes down, they go out of business, etc. Have seen this happen many times.

If you trust your business to free services, by all means go for it. I do this full time and have for many years. This is my income and business. I am not about to trust it to free services. I value my business and reputation with my subscribers and clients.

Go the free route and come back in a few months and let us know how it went for you.

            Hi,
My brother won't be available any time soon, cause he has been banned for posting a link that connected to a giveaway.
I'm afraid the moderators here understood it as a way to monetize.
In fact , it isn't like that.
Anyway, regarding to the email provider, mailrelay, I haven't heard anything wrong about them.
they are a company that works for Portuguese, English and Spanish people.
I guess they're trying to compete with the big dogs, that's why the prices.
            I don't use autoresponders, so I can't give you a better answer.
We, my brother and I use web push notifications. They are less aggressive and get better results.

I'm afraid there are no free autoresponders out there with all the characteristics you mentioned. However...

you have a couple of solutions depending on your needs.

    1. launchrock.com

it's not an autoresponder, but it will let you create a sign up page with a message sent to the subscriber. Only one. you have access to some statistics, too.

    2. mailrelay.com

it's not for free, but it will give you the chance to use it without charge (and no credit card required) until you reach 15,000 subscribers.
An email campaign solution, with prices that suit your budget

    Hope it works

Very Interesting! I have never heard of this Email Marketing provider, they seem to be originated in Spain or something. Their offer seems to be irresistible, I mean 75.000 Emails per month and 15.000 Subscribers for FREE is just truly unbelievable!

However, I'm worried about their reputation and Email deliverability...

I haven't used an autoresponder in ages (I was on GetResponse for a number of years). I know, doesn't make me sound like much of an IM dude, but it works for me. However, lately I have wanted to get an autoresponder just to shoot off a free e-Book off my blog. I am not interested in building a mailing list in that way, I'm doing pretty well with my niche on WhatsApp broadcasting. I find it more interactive and REAL. Amazing how many emails I have in my inbox... a whopping 25,000 which I haven't bothered to read and will be deleting without reading anyway. Yeaks!

    Surprised nobody mentioned this.

If you are using wordpress, you can use the Mailpoet plugin. It allows 2000 subscribers per site before you need to pay anything. Plus you can import any lists.

For delivery, check with your hosting company and see what they allow. For just starting, it's likely to be enough.

Alternatively, for delivery, try sendgrid. They allow 12000 messages a month for free.

    ✓ MailChimp

Please let me know if there's any other better free alternatives?

Sounds great! I also tried Elasticemail but they said they don't allow Affiliate Marketing, what about Sendgrid, are they Ok with AM?

... This might sound like a newbie question but what's the difference between a normal ESP like Aweber and an SMTP?

Been a while since I checked, but pretty sure sendgrid is fine with affiliates. In fact, I think it was created by marketers and they send out marketing tips. In the end, you are just mailing to your web site subscribers, no matter what you send them. But if you load in 2000 new hotmail addresses every day and try to send them all, they will probably think you are a spammer and limit or shut your account.

SMTP is just a sending protocol. Aweber and sendgrid and your hosting company are who you send through, so they maintain their reputation to get the highest deliverability.

Once upon a time I was really concerned about my email marketing campaign. Initially I used mailchimp & get banned frequently. At last a moment appear that turned my overall business status. I've found a seller from Fiverr/pavelbd & used his service for my emailing marketing. In one word it's just an alternative service of mailchimp without any doubt. Why not you people using him from https://www.fiverr.com/pavelbd ?

  • I recommend Get Response. Getresponse might be a little cheaper than MailChimp.

He's looking for free. Get response is only free for a trial.

I'm totally sure you'll never find a good email provider for free. Getresponse is only $15 per month, aweber $19. Prices are low to look for free ones.

      You may miss the point.

When you are starting you have almost no money. If you start with a free solution, you can move to paid when you build your lists big enough. And if you aren't making some money by the time you have 2000 subs, then you may be doing something wrong.

  • I think that MailChimp is probably the best tool to use at this time, and with their offer for up to 2000 subscribers free, if you're doing email marketing the correct way (not by spamming people) you'll be covered until you're big enough to afford paying for the service.

There are other services that are great and low priced, but they require quite a bit of coding knowledge so you can send campaigns directly from your own server.

I would say stop looking for free services. Focus on ROI, since you don't have to be afraid of spending a dollar if you know you'll get three back in a couple weeks.

    Hi

The MailChimp autoresponder service offers the great features that can help strengthen your email marketing campaigns.

It has a permanently-free option under 2,000 subscribers (maximum 12,000 emails/month). The further costs are – $10/month for less than 500 subscribers, and $15/month for less than 1000 subscribers.
This makes it most cost-effective among the best autoresponder services.

    Regards.

Learn to read the question. MailChimp CANNOT be used for affiliate marketing.
