Hi guys,

I am not very good at email marketing or marketing at all for that matter.

I was wondering if any one could possibly give me some guidence on how to write a good marketing email.

These are the following points I think I would like to make in the marketing email and the ones I believe will be of benefit to the end user.

- Only £19.99 per year to post as many jobs, events, etc (Other websites that are similar charge £400 a month for just the jobs alone, therefore I am a lot cheaper).
-Membership Discounts on products the businesses I am targeting will find useful, for their day to day tasks. (I have partnered up with some major brands and got exclusive discounts.)

I have the stress the following: The website is very new so I don't really have any visitors on the website as of yet, therefore I doubt anyone would want to pay £19,99 a year, therefore I got all these discounts that they can only access once registered, that will save them more than the £19.99 a year that they have paid.

I don't might putting a competition in as well, where by if they sign up they have the change of winning something or some exclusive deal.

Kind regards,

Calvin

Just subscribe to some lists and look at the emails that are sent to you. Did the subject line make you want to click if so then save it to a swipe file. Then read the email, does it make you want to exercise the "call to action" if so then save it to a swipe file.

Then, once you have some decent swipes you can change them around to suit your needs

The best marketing email does not look like a marketing email. Tell stories, chat, solve problems, recommend etc.

If at all possible move them from the email to a web page where you can give them a better experience.
