Sending internal newsletter, with analytics (opens, clicks, etc.) and keeping the information secure
Hi there, I'm trying to find a way to circulate an internal newsletter which is currently in pdf format.
What we would like to happen is:
Email is sent to all my colleagues with a link to open the pdf.
We can see who has opened, how many times, etc.
The pdf is not downloadable, so that any company confidential information is kept secure.
What we have currently is:
Campaign Monitor software with a link the pdf saved on a secure page on our website.
This will show us who has opened the email and clicked on the link.
However, the pdf needs to be downloaded and therein lies the risk of the information getting outside the company.
The options we have looked at is:
To put the pdf (which is currently 17 pages) into one of the campaign monitor templates so we can track usability, however the email could still be forwarded and the information leak outside the company.
To use MS Office Sway (which I have only just discovered and looks quite cool), which has an option to share internally only but then we cannot see analytics.
What does everyone else do? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
