I'm entered in a product launch coming up in two weeks without a list - am I wasting my time?

So I just finished Autoresponder Madness and so far the results are great for my autoresponder sequence in the Health and Fitness niche.

I got invited to participate in a product launch in the Digital Marketing niche (which is my true passion). The prelaunch begins this Friday, July 1, and the launch runs from July 7-11.

Only problem is I don't have a list yet.

I'm particularly drawn to this product launch because it deals with an area of marketing similar an area that the company I work full-time for is involved in, so I know a lot about it and have dozens of stories to tell about it.

I'm beginning to come up with a autoresponder sequence that I'm looking to start this Friday. My plan is to just start pouring money into driving traffic to a landing page with a lead magnet.

But my biggest fear is not getting enough opt-ins to be profitable.

Has anyone winged a product launch? Am I screwed or is there still potential for me to make a few bucks promoting something I'm passionate about?

It's going to depend on how much traffic you can afford to buy and still make a profit. But, if you can break even with this product launch you will still have built an email list you can build a relationship with and make money from products you recommend to them.

  • i would say you can open a paid thread here and give 10 review copies and see what people have to say about your product.this will surely help in exposure

moreover since this is your first product you can even give 100 percent commission to affiliates who promote it provided you have an upsell(where you will split the profit)

i wish you best of luck for your launch

You are not screwed imo. You will have to drive targeted traffic to the offer, but make sure you do have a squeeze page with a good enough lead magnet in place, in front of the relating offer (magnet has to lead into the launching product).

    Hope this helps!

Is there any particular reason you just cut and pasted my response as yours?
