How to Manage email marketing for two sister companies

Hi

My company has launched a new business, it is our sister company as we cannot sell the new product line under our existing company, so i will have to send separate email marketing for both companies.

Is there a best way to handle this as in effect they will get two emails from both and possibly at the same time, i dont want to annoy our customers with double the emails.

Hope someone can give some good advice on how to handle this?

I don't understand the question. If you have two different companies, then you should have two different lists.

Or are you saying that the second company just exists to promote the product that the first company can't, but you want to use the list from the first company to promote the product?

The new company was created to sell different brand of product, and I will be using the existing contacts lists to send email marketing. I'm not sure how to manage this as i don't want to send two different email marketing for different products potentially on the same day or week or however often they will be sent.

I don't want to annoy customers with too much information, as I will also send out introduction emails via outlook individually after contacting a new business so i am not sure how to handle all of this, I need advice.

You can easily schedule your campaign so your customers don't annoy with two emails at the same time.

You should send emails through dedicated email server hosted in your region or country. Powermta and Postfix are few leading names in email delivery application. You can choose according to your requirement.
For SMEs and startups Mailchimp and campaignmonitor are affordable options.

Many companies send multiple emails to people a day, try it, if you see an above average opt-out rate, then switch. Or provide the user the option to opt out of 1 list or the other.

It sounds like you do not want to compete with yourself. I understand. Setup two email accounts, use the same lists on both, rotate days or weeks. I would consider sending from a different name. I have several different companies and different products and do this all the time.

Do you want the customers to know this is part of the same company or would you prefer them to think it is different?

I would send email to my existing list informing them about the new site and inviting them to visit and to sign up. That way when they get emails they will be from different emails. Those that want to join will those that don;t won't. Then manage them separately

hi we sell plant machinery, we created the second company to sell different branded equipment that we cannot sell under our regular name for contractual reasons.

in almost 3 years in sending email marketing we get only a fraction of our 4000 email address actually recoded as being open and very small fraction of that again of people clicking on our campaigns.

I'm not sure of the reason why, i had suspected that they are going to spam folder. i switched from zoho to mailchimp and the test message when to my collegue's spam folder, unexplained.

I'm no expert here but I am just looking for a better way and strategy to send our campaigns to maximize people opening them up as we should be getting far more people clicking on our campaigns.
