I need help to sell via my emails, I'm stuck

Hello there friends!

Thank you in advance for reading this inquiry of mine.

I have created my squeeze page, all is well people are subscribing. I'm teaching people how to build private blog networks and I'm starting out giving away the guide, the first chapters of the guide in the first emails.

In my 3rd-4th email when the most important chapters kick in, I send them to my sales page so they can get the full guide. My questions are...

1. Since people have already read the previous chapters would they buy everything again just to get the remaining chapters?

2. I do this (giving away the first chapters) because I want to prove them that know what I'm talking about. But maybe this isn't the correct way to upsell?

I still haven't got enough stats to see where this is going and I should wait, but still, would you pay for something to get the remaining 60% ? Do I give away too much? How can I redirect them to the sales page without them think "damn he's now asking for money, up to the half of the book it was free!"

3. What's a nice technique to make someone pay for something when he got used to the first emails being free?

    Do your subscribers know up front that they are only going to get the first chapter for free? Or are you springing it on them? If they are not aware that they are going to have to pay for the remaining chapters when they first subscribe, they are getting pissed off at you.

    Maybe create two ebooks. A basic one that gives them everything they need to build a blog network and an advanced one that covers advanced techniques that you sell later.

      Thank you for your awesome reply (and idea).

      The squeeze page is saying that I will show them a way to rank in google, I am not saying it's going to be free but the 1st, 2nd, 3rd email are totally free. In my 4th email I am giving away some of my most important secrets and I am telling them that there are 10 more tips and I give a link to the sales page.

      I have a feeling they'd be pissed of at me too but I have just started building my list and I feel like I need to wait to see results.

      On the other side, I don't want to waste time and I feel like I should do the 2 books tip you just mentioned above.
      Hmm... lots of options.

      Thanks for your response, I guess I should wait & if the results suck I should try and change technique?

    As long as it is clear at the beginning that they will get the first 3 chapters for free,that would be fine. Someone may go for it, if the first 3 chapters have provided "solution" to the user.
