Paid email lists are working or not... ??

There are always going to be those that will tell you to never buy a list and there are going to be those that tell you otherwise. There is really no 100% correct answer, as there are multiple determining factors.

I have been monetizing purchased data for over 16 years. So I know for a fact that it does work, if done correctly.

You ideally want to have a proven monetization and sending strategy for the type of data you purchase. If you are new to buying data, then it can be much more difficult, if your having to figure it out from scratch.

In addition, you don't just want to blindly buy data. You want to get a sample and test it. By doing this you will get an idea of the quality and how long it will likely take you to break-even on it. Based on the results you could move forward with the purchase, try and negotiate a lower price, if it doesn't look like it will break-even in a time that is acceptable to you or not purchase it.

One thing everyone needs to understand about purchased data, is that it will never be as responsive as a highly targeted opt-in list you build. So, to compensate for this, you will want to work with higher volume. This isn't a big deal, as buying data is much quicker and cheaper than any list you could ever build. However, one of the keys to making it work, is that you always want to be segment the data and removing the unresponsive users. That way you will be building smaller, but much more responsive lists, so that eventually, you will send less and make more with each mailing.

WHY pay for an email list and dont use Solo Ads?

If you think of spending money for list building, it's better you rely on solo ads and then do ad swaps imho.

Go to Udimi or solo ads testimonial group on facebook.

It could be even faster, you dont have to find esotic email providers which allows you to import large lists etc...

and you can get more targeted lists.

It all depends who you are buying your email list from. Are you getting them from a company that sells them at a charge of 499.99 for 100 emails? or are you getting the emails from a site that sells them for $5 for 1,000,000 emails? You need to make sure you know who you are buying from, I was going to do this when I first started and found out the hard way as CHEAP email list are almost always bad emails and the bounce rate can and will hurt you if you are using a email company to send out emails. Know who and where those emails are coming from!

I've been looking into Solo Ads at FB Groups! Been advised by a couple of top people that swear by it and rumor has it you can get traffic at 30 cents a pop. I have NOT YET Tried it but will in Sept. I will return with a full update on how it well it does or does not work!
