Case study: My 1 week product launch results from 1,000 subscribers

Ya I might have priced it a little low but who knows. When I do a re-launch in the future I'll increase it and see how it compares.

My email list is something I've built through youtube videos in a certain niche. So in other words these weren't bought or anything like that. That's why the open rate is so high. The way I will be managing the list is by sending a niche related offer to it like"Free training series" or something like that and get them to opt in to that separate list/funnel.

So instead of sending the entire sideways sales letter to the main list I would "peel them off" of the main list to join a separate list, then send the sideways sales letter to that separate list. The reason for this is because you will be sending a lot of emails during the pre-launch and launch and if you do this continually to your main list they will get desensitized or consider it spam.

For this first launch I sent the entire funnel to my main list but got a few comments about spam so in the future I'll be using the method above. The conversion rate is completely dependent on how good your sales content is and how warm your list is. So you can have a higher conversion rate with 100 people than 1,000 easily. Actually the smaller your list it's more likely that you will have better conversion because they are probably your close loyal followers.

P.S. The people in my list are all people who voluntarily opted in because I provide great content. Scrapping email addresses from websites and sending out spam won't produce the same results.

I use Aweber but I've heard a lot of good stuff about getresponse too. Just stay away from Mailchimp since they don't allow affiliate marketing.

I launched through email. Not sure what you mean by where. Most of my followers are in the U.S. but a few from overseas. =)

You'll need a service like Aweber or Getresponse to send the email. I've also heard good things about Sendy and Amazon SES.

There are many different ways to make money online. Clickbank is just one of them so yes you could make money off Clickbank. I haven't personally used Clickbank because I like the idea of keeping 100% of the profits from my product and also having full control over it. It would be very hard for me to go to a Joint venture partner and solicit a product on clickbank.
