Need help diagnosing email domain blacklisting on SURBL

Hello guys!

I had server recently was mailing from it regularly for about 30 days, not blacklist alerts during all that period.
after that I stopped mailing from that server and it was down for like 7 days then I got a new one and I used the same domain name for sending, but this time I noticed that the domain name got blacklisted on SURBL multi.

So I was wondering what cause the domain name to get blacklisted? could it be because the DNS changes.

(The domain name is few months olds and the whois information are not hidden)

Thank you very much.

    Hi Sendizo,
You probably need to go into a little bit more detail about the rig you're using to send emails. What's the quantity and frequency of emails? Are you sending from dedicated IP's if so how many and what's the history of them? What sort of emails are being sent content wise and text based.

How's the DNS setup? Have you run it through something like https://www.mail-tester.com/ ? This is a nice easy way to check against a number of the common blacklists and naive spam filters.

Ensure that all the SPF and DKIM records are setup correctly, it might also be worth looking into DMARC if you're worried about someone else pretending to be you in emails and burning you in the process.

    That's my 2c at least

    Kind regards,
    Moss

Thank you very much for your response.
mail-tester.com score is 10/10. I think its a DNS issue. because when I was sending, have not got listed in any blacklist. but when the server was down for about 7 days. the DNS were offline. and when I got the server back and re configured it and the DNS got up again. they got listed. I checked some article online and the blacklist network the scan the DNS and use other criteria to list domain or IP. I will do more research on this.

      Thanks again guys.
