Monetize email list of payday loan requesters?

Hi,

I have a list of emails and full names of about 2000 people (US citizens) who have requested payday loans between $100 and $1000 in the last 5 years.

They are from a few websites of mine where people can request such loans by submitting a form. My website then sends the information through an API to a lending company that follows up with the client.

I got a commission for some of the leads, but not much.

My wish right now is to monetize this list more.

An idea I got is to find someone who sells something suitable for this target audience (maybe even loans) and sell/rent the list to them.

What do you think? Any other ideas?

Thanks

Well there's CPA networks who have offers of this kind. I am with cash network, they have offers. Maybe CPA prosperity too. I'd check some of the CPA networks for this.

Yeah absolutely find an affiliate marketing program which'll provide value for your list.

And here's an idea man; doesn't even have to be loans! If they're getting loans why are they?

Are they struggling so badly where they need more credit? So credit cards, credit extensions, another loan, financing for shopping?

Just a few spit ball ideas.

My suggestion would be to find a program that allows you to make more money then just a 1 time sale.

Allowing you to make commissions on multiple levels and preferably for the lifetime value of a customer (like a bank perhaps or insurance company maybe even a financial advisor program).

    Best of luck.

I'm with SamNuku. Understand the deep-seated reasons why they are going for a loan with a simple email survey. People have different reasons for filing loans, especially payday loans.

Once I've segmented my list, I'll try to find solutions or complimentary products that align with their reasons. Those who need payday loans because they are always short on cash, a financial literacy or budgeting program may help get them out of this cycle. Those who are using their payday loans for a leisure trip, maybe some saving on travel guides can come in handy. You get the idea.

      I hope that helps.

This is a great list! Yes, you can definitely monetize this. Think about it this way -- people who are looking for loans in that amount are usually short on cash or looking for more ways to earn cash.

You can sell your list to various organizations -- banks, credit card companies, networking companies, and the like. Even ecommerce sites would be interested in this list as big ecommerce companies also provide credit lines.

    The list is basically worthless.

2000 emails is nothing, since the data is so old. Also, there are likely many bounces in it now. There could even be a chance that some have been converted to spam traps.

Also, since the data is so old, what they were originally interested in is pretty irrelevant. There is no way to know if they are the same financially.
