Where do you get email design inspiration?

  • Hi myprlab. I believe it is pretty much about the content.
The design counts only if your niche really predisposes that.
Otherwise as winter comes you should try something snowy and santy..
You can inspire from html5 templates and convert them into email ones. HTML5UP website is good source.
    Thanks

Not bad. It's clear that the content is always the first place. But I think that ideologies of the web design and email design still different. html5up will be useful for web development.
What about resources such as realygoodemails?

    INSPIRATION?

    SEMPLICITY is THE KEY!

People will buy or read cause of CONTENT not cause of fancy colours or
    funny desing.

Just focus on the simplest possibile, html format and start writing GOOD COPYWRITING
    MAILS.

...other things are only disturbing and annoying the user.

Hey, some of the best email marketers out there are doing it plain and simple. Mail is meant to be simple and sleek.

Fancy colors and designs are the perfect indications of someone new in the email industry. Stick with a nice font, give line breaks, write good copy and you are all done to conquer.

    Thanks

I have subscribed to some blogs that interest me, especially the ones in the same niche market, so I get their emails and compare it to mine -- but I never copy. I sometimes get inspiration from the big, successful brands. Sometimes, I have those lightbulb moments when a design or idea just pops in my head.

Use neon color so that you can get your readers attention easily. It can capture their eyes due to its relaxing properties. Use neon as your background color and dark black as your font color. It is eye capturing for sure!

And make sure that it blinks off and on, rapidly. That really gets their attention.
