How to monetize through an affiliate program in email marketing?

Hi warriors,

i have a good lead generation strategy in health and wellness niche.
My funnel is something like that:

1) post on facebook fan page a content with a landing page link
2) share post on facebook group on same niche
3) lead generation on landing page (free ebook)

Then i start nursery process sending my blog contents (always in same niche) to user in my list.

I'm trying to monetize sending email with affiliate link to product (amazon) in the same niche, but i think that this strategy is no good. It's seem no work.

Anyone can help me?
How can i do to have more chance to monetize my email marketing flow using an affiliate program?

    Hi redbuttonplayer,

    What kind of content are you sending in your emails? Are they exact copies of the content on your blog? I am not a fan of cliffhangers, but you need to get your subscribers hooked, by making them believe that they will get a lot more from you when they purchase. Not all information should be given away in the free email, yet it should not come off as a cliffhanger, either. This may sound tricky, but once you get used to creating content that entices your audience and provides value, then the rest will flow.

    How about wording? Who writes your copies? I ask, because I noticed some grammar inconsistencies in your post, and a lot of people may get turned off if this is the same writing style that you send in your emails. No offense meant.

    Here is what I would suggest:
    1) Identify the niche on which you would like to work.
    2) Get membership on a good affiliate network.
    3) Choose a profitable offer with which you would like to work.
    4) If you are working with ClickBank, keep a tab on gravity metric of the offer that you chose.
    5) Drive traffic to the offer and keep track of the CRO(conversion rate optimization).

    Put yourself in your prospects shoes.

    What problem are you helping them solve?

    Use the classic problem/agitate/solution formula where the solution is your affiliate product.

    Are you saying you'll be placing your Amazon aff link inside emails?

    If so, you may get banned from Amazon

    Read up on what is and what isnt allowed with Amazon links first.

    Suggest you pay attention to point 6

    Best send your subscribers to a webpage that has your Amazon aff link instead
