What are the best words to use in your email address?

Ive read on a blog that I enjoy that people who use the words wealth and success in their email address usually show someone who is broke and chasing status.Would anyone agree with this idea? Its not a belief that I have myself but theres still a lot I dont understand, so maybe its just beyond me.

    In my opinion, it really depends on the context and how you've structured your email. But success and wealth are definitely words you should use sparingly, or at least use them silently; Meaning do not capitalize, bold, use them in email subjects or emphasize on them in any way. Other words you should avoid (especially in mail subjects) include;

    1. FREE!
    2. $$$
    3. Earn
    4. Guaranteed
    5. Whitepaper/Report/Journal
    6. FWD
    7. Urgent

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers!

How To Write Effective Subject Lines For Your Emails.
Like most of us, I expect you get many many emails from marketers on a daily basis. Do you open them all? I doubt it. I'm willing to bet that your finger is on the 'delete' button more times than the 'open' button.
But, you do open some. The question is why? The answer, the subject line. It's that subject line that hits you in the face and you just have to open that email. So why is the subject line so important?
The subject line has one purpose and one purpose only.To grab your attention above all the rest so that you open that email to see what inside. And chances are that you'll have to give your name and email address to get the information, which is exactly what the marketer wants you to do.

So how do you write that killer subject line that gets your emails opened.

Firstly, don't state what is in the email. If you say in the subject line what the email is about, it probably won't get opened. You need to make the subject line so that curiosity by the recipient gets it opened. But obviously, you're not going to tell lies. Don't say things like
'How To Become A Millionnaire By Tonight.' No-one's going to believe lines like that.
Make your subject line benefit orientated, not feature orientated. By that I mean you sell the 'what's in it for me' factor. People want to know how they will benefit from opening your email. Which of the following subject lines would you choose?

“I will show you the way to a better lifestyle”
    or,
“My system has all the best features”

By selecting the first one, I have also made it personal, “I will show YOU.......
People like to feel that you're corresponding with them and not with thousands of others.
So make it personal. Just as if you were talking to a real person.

The benefit is a better lifestyle. Targeting people's emotions is what gets emails opened.
A good way to discover great subject lines is to look at the subject lines of all the emails you opened, and see what the subject line contained that made you want to open the email.

Also check against the ones you dispensed with, and again ask yourself why you didn't open those.
So just consider those couple of tweaks I talked about above, and your open rate should improve.

Welcoming words can be more relevant for this as I think because people are more attract to them like Make Your Website, Welcome to warriorforum, Sale here. So I find them as a catchy words.

Since you are asking about the email address and NOT the subject line...

Use what the subscriber is expecting. If you use your name on your squeeze pages, use your name. If you use the name of a product or service, use that.

You are trying to build trust, not sell by your email name.
