Email Marketing vs Niche site

Hello Warriors,

I was just wondering what is more profitable, Email Marketing or creating niche sites and doing SEO on them to get to the top of google and make sales that way? Email Marketing has a lot more cost... PPC ads etc... Whereas I can make a niche site with just buying a domain and cheap hosting. The SEO won't cost too much to perform myself also. Any help will be appreciated

Paid traffic is about traffic you control. You can get as much or as little as you want.

If you know what you're doing it can actually be "free." You can make your ad costs back and then some.

On the flip side, SEO will take time. A lot of it. And there are no guarantees. You can be ranked high one day and then suddenly your ranking can drop.

It also depends on your talents and your work ethic. Maybe you like writing about niche topics and are passionate about a certain subject.

Not everyone can create a successful YouTube channel or a blog. You have to have charisma, the right personality, specialized knowledge etc.

Whereas email marketing, most people can duplicate this if you are focused and determined enough. Once the front end is set up it is just a matter of sending traffic to it.

It takes me 10 minutes to buy a solo ad

    Just my opinion.

I think that creating niche website with SEO is more difficukt from time to time, because all search engine like google change their algorithme usually, so better to concentrate more on paid traffic like google adwords, so that your mailing list will grow up

Actually, you should be combining ppc, seo and other traffic generating sources, then when traffic comes to site, have them opt-in to your email. Most dangerous number in marketing is 1. One way to generate traffic, one source, one lead, one etc....

The ppc will bring immediate traffic, the seo can bring long term if do right and combining other sources, your traffic stays consistent and at the same time building your email list so can stay in contact for offers or goals have for your list.

Niche marketers are masters of positioning. They make it crystal clear who they serve and how.
Email Marketing use more of a shotgun approach, spraying marketing efforts at a wide audience and hoping to hit one or two interested buyers.

This pretty much explains that you can get the best out of both worlds. So if you got enough budget, why not try both?

      Good luck!
