I have a weight loss squeeze page and use Google Alerts to drive traffic there to get free leads.

You can enter all your related keywords and have them emailed to you as it happens. You just then visit the site and leave a valuable comment along with your link.

This does take time but it's not that hard and it does work. The more keywords you can find, the better.

Not all places will allow you to comment, but some will.

Conversation marketing can be very effective.

When you make sales, reinvest the money into paid traffic.

That will free up your time to write more follow up emails in your series.

You might look for forums like this one but in the health/fitness group. You may want to try a sub niche like weight loss or weight loss for men over 40... You will want to research an area and become an expert in that area. I would suggest creating a sales funnel, where you offer something small on the front end to buy and weed out the freebie seekers. Then provide excellent quality content and eventually suggest products that they definitely need/want as time goes by. There are lots of communities on Facebook and Google Plus, some may allow advertising. Pinterest would work great for you. It has over 110 Million monthly active users and they are primarily women. If you are an expert in your niche you could easily have a blog and drive people to that as well. Giveaways (free reports or content) can also attract people. I would also warn that traffic exchanges and safelists will not likely work for you even though they probably come up when you Google free traffic.
