Mailchimp sign up forms

I'm trying to create a signup forum so it will be double opt in when i get people to sign up.

I don't understand, why do I need to click on "lists" then create signup forms? can you only use it for that particular list? what if the lists is already opted in?

They should make it so people can just create a sign up form and then using it to create lists. hope I'm making sense

    You've probably used some other service before. Go with Mailchimp's route. They offer a lot of things you won't find in any other email provider.
