I was using Click Funnels and got absolutely zero support from their team so now I am looking for a landing page creator and a decent auto responder to build my email list. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I have a very large amazon business (built up way back from ASM2).

As a result I extensively use landing pages using Leadpages. Have found them easy and quick to use with good support.

As for autoresponders, I have used all the 'big ones' that everyone knows about. I've found them all to be about the same. So, take your pic. Currently i'm using Aweber.

    Good luck with your venture.

Thanks for the reply Zany... Are you using Shopify as well or just Leadpages? And is Leadpages super technical? I just need something with solid support and not too much fluff.. Your answer would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I know a few things. I like Leadpages because it works with shopify apparently and this saves me a lot of time... The only thing is they don't offer split testing in the basic package.

          Thanks Zany!

Thrive themes has wordpress themes with a front end editor. They include a section of prebuilt and very customizable landing pages. Lots of tutorials on their youtube channel too.

you can integrate any autoresponder at that point. I like both aweber and activecampaign.

I like ThriveThemes Content Builder because I've found that they're one of the easiest to use, have all kinds of prebuilt templates and excellent selection of elements. I also use ElegantThemes and they're good but I find them to be much bulkier to work with than Thrive.

Been using arpReach for years because I don't like recurring payments but it's not for everyone since you host it on your own server.

I use Leadpages and found the experience to be easy and painless...Never had to use their support due to a great FAQ section.
I use Aweber and have no problems with them.

    Hi Monica,

Leadpages is one my favorites, it easy to use and very intuitive.

One of the autoresponders I like the most is Getresponse, they also have a landing page option (with less features of course than Leadpages) and a webinar service included as well.

It depends on what you're looking for...

    Kind regards,
    Robin

    Mailchimp these days!

I've tried Aweber, GetResponse & Campaign Monitor.

Aweber used to be good. But it's so outdated. Even attempts to update it are horrible. Silly UI decisions, customer service/support seem to think a lot of themselves and don't seem to care too much. Their templates are kind of hilarious in a sad way.

GetResponse has major delivery problems so you're really gambling if you intend on people reading your emails. But it looks nice I guess.

Mailchimp used to be really hard to use.

After 2 or 3 years putting it off finally moved. I have no complaints. It's okay.

UI used to be major deterrent but seemed to have made it a bit better. Has Facebook ads now too. Seems to do everything I need it to. Plus being Mailchimp pretty much everything integrates with it well. Plays nicely with Shopify.

Only drawback with mailchimp is that Mandrill / "Mailchimp Transactional" is stupidly expensive - Sendgrid is much better for transactional now.

If you want an excellent product and excellent support, go with OptimizePress - Create Landing Pages, Sales Pages & Membership Portals — OptimizePress

If you plan to promote affiliate links MailChimp is not an option.

There are tons of landing page creators, but in my opinion, keeping it simple & sweet is best. I have used optimized press and many others. They are all good, but an overkilled in my opinion, especially when I only needed to create a simple landing page and/or salesletter for conversion purpose. Wordpress was not designed to create blogs and not intended purely for conversions/ funnel purpose, but we tweaked them to be a selling tool, hence the expectation gap.

WPwealthCopy was created with a single focus in mind: i.e. landing pages, which you may download in the link below. IMHO, it's easy and quick. It can be as advanced as you want it to be, including split testing, if you want to go that far.

Did I mention it's free? Oh... Yes I did.

re: autoresponder, I'd suggest mailchimp, free for entry level.

    hope it helps!

    Hey Monica Luve,

When it comes to list building, there are many choices out there to create landing pages and using a good autoresponder.

I personally use, Optimize press for landing page, and aweber for an autoresponder. Optimize press support is pretty good, and there are many templates to use for creating landing pages, sales pages and membership programmes.

I hope this is useful enough for you

    What he said^

I like optimize press because its easy to use and just a one time payment for 3 licenses.

And I use Get response as its one that accepts affiliate links in the emails.

I use GetResponse, have been using this platform for years. I prefer it, because of the simplicity AND they offer you a free 90 day course on email marketing and list building. Which is also where I learned most of what I know about list building and nurturing.

Personally, I like Thrive Leads and Thrive Content Builder. Lots of templates and I can self host everything on my Wordpress site.

For ordinary autoresponder stuff Aweber or GetResponse. If you really want to dig in and segment an audience based on their actions the Drip wins hands down.

I have tried many other LP creators but for me, the easiest and simplest one to use is Unbounce. I am not a creative person when it comes to designing pages but this program makes it really really easy for me. It's literally just drag and drop. For autoresponder, I just use Aweber as I've always had.

For me, I used Optimize Press and Aweber.

Even though Optimize Press is also pricey, it is the most reliable and easiest-to-use themes I used.

Be it blogs, landing pages, salesletters and membership sites.

Same goes for Aweber even though it is the only autoresponder not to provide landing page creator and still used old school optin forms.

I am not using any products that has monthly fee. such as clickfunnels or leadpages just to create landing page. i got my landing page with the system i bought for $49 lifetime and give me high converting landing page and done for me selling all i have to do i just send traffic to the given landing page.. instead of paying monthly bills for landing page creator i bought a complete package system. which i have lifetime access and has follow up email setted up for me. but what i love because it is very high opt-in rate. you can decide if you will pay monthly bills or lifetime access for your landing page

My favorite autoresponder is Aweber. It's also the one I hate the most. All autoresponders have problems unless it is self hosted. Even then, there is a different set of problems.

As far as landing pages, I have them created specifically for me at Fiverr, SEOClerks, or Konker. Yes, the initial investment may be a little bit more, but I get exactly what I want, and i get a much higher opt-in rate.

You may want to check out some of the simple squeeze page builders available from Code Canyon (wordpress). I've also had good results with squeeze page builders from some of the vendors at WarriorPlus.

I've tried just about everything over the years... LeadPages, Optimize Press, InstaBuilder, HTML!!!!... you name it.

When I first started using each one I thought they were awesome, but one by one they eventually disappointed me in one way or another.

I have also used Aweber and GetResponse (still have some lists there) and they were both good. I kind of liked Aweber a little better but they seem to be bent on double opt-ins and don't seem to like digital product sellers much so I switched to GetResponse.

But, for about the past 8-months I've been hooked on ClickFunnels. I subscribe to the Etison suite so I've got just about everything in one package. I love it.

The only semi-confusing things about CF are setting up your SMTP server for Actionetics (autoresponder) and setting up your custom domains.

But, if you've been around a while, those things shouldn't be too difficult. They do have good documentation and, for me at least, their support has been awesome.

    Hey Monica Luve,

I would suggest you to get started with Unbounce for creating Landing Pages, the platform doesn't have perquisites for one to be an tech-expert; while EasySendy Pro would be a promising option for Auto-responders!
