No such thing as a stupid question. If you have been able to collect a substantial amount of subscribers, then your landing pages have to be quite professional. Have you offered your subscribers any free stuff to download?

Have you identified a common need, and a preferred solution?

Have you created your News Letters and Auto Responder messages?

You can most certainly earn a substantial income from a responsive list that size. First I would suggest perhaps to send out a survey, and determine what your list is looking for.

Then search for the appropriate product in demand. Remember that your Newsletter must be more informative of nature. It's with your Auto Responder messages that you present your affiliate offers.

    That's not true.

There are way too many factors that make it completely impossible to generalize the monthly value of data.

There are those that make way more than a dollar and there are those that don't make enough to even cover their costs.

If you have a good list, then you are probably selling yourself short by selling solo ads, as you have a fixed amount that you make per click.

You need to test and decide for yourself.

There is nothing called as $1 per subscribers

    It depends on multiple factors

How aggressive you are when mailing your email list ?
What is your list size ?
    How you built your list
    and the list goes on

as far as becoming a solo ad vendor its a different story

PM some of the biggest solo ad vendor on Warrior forum and you will have your answer

    cheers

I am also building a list and I find that as it grows I am sending targeted broadcast messages to some affiliate offers and starting to build some income that way. Do you have your list connected to aweber?

    Hi:

You have several options now that you have started building your list.
    1. You can find products on the ClickBank or JV Zoo platform that fit the niche you serve and start to promote products to your list.

    2. You can create a product of your own to promote to your list.

    3. You can start to sell solo ads to other people looking for traffic in your niche.

    You should do fine.

    Good Luck,

    Hello,

It is good to see you are building your list with Optins. However, when you say big list, how big? Normally if you were able to organically grow big list, you must have a plan how to monetize it

    Here are some tips

find out which niche you subscribers belong to

Join multiple affilaite networks, like click bank

Promote affiliate offers to such subscribers

Note that you can always run solo ads, or list swaps to grow your list

And not to mention, launch your own products and sell to your customers. May be by Resell right products?

Set up an email sequence with an autoresponder that sends out affiliate links every so often, but only to products that will help your customers. Which brings me to my next point, you must regularly be providing high quality and valuable information to your subscribers for free. If you don't do that, you'll just be seen as a spammer and no one will buy anything. Your list is your single biggest asset, so treat the people on it with respect.

how do you do that? will short videos with tips in the related niche will do?

Hey, Alon! I think I understand your question :-)

The $1 per email is only a general rule of thumb. This number can go up or down depending on how you monetize your list.

Email marketing can get a bit confusing if you get lost in all the terminology and technical systems. Please entertain my quick example here:

One day, you are going through your junk mail and so happen to notice a coupon that says, "BUY ONE SHOE, GET THE OTHER ONE ABSOLUTELY FREE!" Of course, you laugh because that's a funny offer, but you also notice that there are many things in the store that are 50% off. You realize that you actually do need a pair of shoes so you decide to go there.

While you're there, one of the associates asks if you need any help. You say, "no, I'm ok, just looking around". No problem. Then as you are holding a box of shoes that you chose, the associate comes back and says, "hey, I noticed you are interested in that pair of shoes. It got some good reviews, however, can I just show you another pair that are only $20 more that have gotten some crazy awesome reviews? Also, you need to take good care of those shoes and buy the polish and protective spray kit which will allow your shoes to last an extra 2 years! It's only $15 more but you'll be sure to get another 2 years out of your shoes!"

So, you walk out of there spending $35 more than originally planned, lol.

Great outcome, right? But here's the real magic... You get an email from them (since you gave them your email address upon checkout), offering you another great deal! Are you likely to buy something else?

That's the value of your email list. How special can you make your subscribers feel when you offer them great deals? If you become a valuable "business" resource (not their friend), then you can offer to them all day long and they will appreciate it. Set this expectation from the beginning and don't pretend to be their friend. That's a big mistake that many email marketers make. They set the wrong expectation.

Hope this helps get some mental juices flowing.

    Great luck to you!

I actually talk about this inside my own course.. link in signature.

The 1 subscriber = $1 / mo. rule only comes into play when you have:

    A) A sales funnel, complete with upsells & downsells
    B) A value ladder which offers more than just 1 product to buyers
    C) An autoresponder sequence to sell the optins that haven't bought yet
    D) A CLICKBANK to monetize any emails after Day 30 OR 60 and basically get $0.50 a click from that part of your list [selling SOLOs]
    E) Finally, you don't even have to sell SOLOs if you have a value ladder like so..

I continually work people up to the TOP of the LADDER [around 1/2% make it] and upsell them on my $12,000 coaching program.

Not everyone will buy my program, but a successful business owner who wants to double his income this year.. will spend that in a heartbeat! And THAT is your dream client you're after..

Very cool stuff. So you sell solo ads to people, but only send these ads to subscribers on your list who don't buy anything? I'm guessing this is the arrow part at the bottom of your image?

You can make $1 a month from selling your own products or affiliate products to them. Now, once you have a buyers list you can get much more than a buck a month from them. : )
