What do I do with my ecommerce list?

So I have a small list that I am building for my product/brand that I sell on Amazon. My question is am I limited to emailing my list strictly about my own products or would it be weird to bring affiliate offers into play for related products?

I'm thinking that maybe teaming up with a sister company selling products that compliment mine would work, but that's the only thing I can think of. Other than that I'm thinking I'm going to be limited to only sending emails regarding my own product (when I'm releasing a new product or discount codes etc)

Just trying to figure out how to handle this list to bring the most value to the people on it

You can promote your own products, plus affiliate offers too. If you want to give value to your customers, you have to send them valuable information too, which they will find useful. This is apart from promoting products and offers.

Yes, you must share information that's appropriate and valid in all respect. Only then it will help your target groups.

As the saying goes, variety is the spice of life, you need to mix it up a lot, by sharing some informative info and sharing your product website and you can share affiliate products too. The key is not to oversell!

You definitely can and SHOULD use affiliate marketing for your email list!

Sure, if you have a new product to sell, or have some kind of special sale going on or any type of limited action/offer, tell your email list about it. If they have bought something, they are proven buyers and will most likely buy again at one point or another.

What is the purpose of having an email list but not sending them any emails? Your ultimate goal is to make money, correct? Then you should be sending out emails quite often. Depending on what product you sell in your ecom store, you can look for similar products that, as you said, will compliment yours.

Look at amazon, you will find lots of products that you could promote as an affiliate and get 1-10% commissions on the products. It's hard to tell you other ways to monetize or what kind of offers you could also promote, if I don't know what products you sell at the moment. Since I know that revealing the ecom niche is not something people do just like that, but if you want some more tips, you could personal massage me. That way only I will know about it and not the whole forum

    Hope that helps,
    Robert
