I've started to build an email list, but my conversion is very low at about 15%. What can I do to improve this? Thanks

Dont make your landing page more complicated. Try to be simple as much possible.

The more simple the more converting!

  • I did a A/B testing for landing page,

    First Landing page
Two line Heading only Words , one image in the left slide , Few words about the niche in the right side and the Email submit form ( I received 18% Opt-in)

    Second Landing page
Two Line Heading with few numbers and words, few bullets point int he left side, no image in this landing page, Email submit from in the right side
( I received 38% Opt-in rate )From Here I understand always need few bullets point about the product in the landing page that will convert more
If anyone have good experience about the landing page using A/B testing share your thought as well.

A/B testing is a great tool, and happy it worked for you. However, I believe it's best to A/B test one thing at a time so that you know exactly which factor improves conversions. For example, if you have no image, is that better than with an image, or was it the few bullet points/numbers? I think it's always great to test, test, test, test, and then test some more

How about posting the page? I mean, kinda hard to make suggestions without that don't you think?

BTW, if the page has typos, like your post does (i.e. "squeze page"), that might be part of the problem. Just sayin.'

For Every 4k visitors, I get about 10 sign ups. About 20% of those sign ups open emails. As mentioned, post your landing page link so we can see/advise.

    What is your traffic source?

And do you know the average conversion rate for that particular traffic source?

For example: If you are using Solo ads, then the average to aim is at least 30%. Some marketers are able to tweak their pages to achieve 50% or more conversion rates.

When I use safelists, I am expecting the best of 1% conversion rate. It is free and incentive based.

When I use Bing Ads, my ad conversion rate is almost similar to Solo Ads.

A few tips on lead capture page:
    1. If you can target your audiences, then create specific pages for that audience. If you know you are going to get traffic from Facebook, create a page where the headline says something specifically for your Facebook audience.

    2. Keep it short and sweet. Sometimes, all you need is just One Headline, and One call to action.

    3. As ChristyJohnson said, if you can use numbers, use it and be specific.

For your lead capture page...do A/B split testing.

Maybe for B, you can try something like this:

Discover the 5 Steps Which Brought me from ZERO to $3201.05/Month in 6 Months!

Enter your email to get instant access to this course...for FREE!

You can remove the bullet points, keep it, or replace it with an image.

Will it convert better? I do not know until you test it out.

    Hope it helped. LoL

Try offering something free. Give away a free video or some content that is related to your niche.

If you have something to offer for free, the traffic is far more likely to want to input their email address and see what else you have to offer.

Your squeeze page doesn't 'engage' with visitors.

It's just a bullet list of vague information.

    Maybe try something like......

This $100-a-day-method was so silly and so very
obvious that I completely missed it for 11 months..........

But when I finally got it working........sign up to see what
I'd ignored for all that time.

Can't help you because its saying your account is no longer active.

So you might want to fix that first.
