Building a mailing list without spending money on traffic?

Money is an invention created to facilitate the ease of exchanging labor for goods and services. Marketing requires a combination of labor, goods and services.

If you don't want to spend any money on marketing then you are stuck providing the labor, the goods, and the services required for all of your marketing and promotional activities.

That means you need to get busy doing all of the work of gathering resources and applying them to marketing. In many cases it is just simpler, and easier to purchase traffic, but with your goal, of not using money, you need to get really creative in your marketing ideas.

There is a name for this type of marketing, it is called Guerrilla Marketing. This is where people do crazy things like paint their web address in big bold letters on their bare chest and going streaking across the field during a major televised sporting event. Or simply wearing a sign while walking through heavily trafficked public areas. there is no limit to the creative ways that you can get your message out there, you just need to start exploring ideas and get busy executing them.

Bare in mind that promotional activity does not rise to the level of marketing unless you are testing, measuring, and adjusting your message based on the resulting data.

For making serious money you have to invest.

But in the first time, spending a lot of money can be dangerous if you dont know what to do.

So there is only one way: if you dont have money, you need to INVEST TIME.

How?

1 Produce content: build a blog around your niche, use pop up and maybe content locker for building up your list, i mean in exchange of mail give something, and do Seo. But produce awesome content, which is the best Seo you can do.

2 Interact with people in fb groups and establish you as an expert in your field.

3 Use reddit, quora, etc, and interact, post newly updates.

You have to invest a lot of time if you dont have money, otherwise go and get a real job to have money to invest in paid ads and course to learn investement trafffic rules.

Build a chanel on youtube around your niche and post at least 1 video each day .Create a blog and post articles that give value etc .Be active on forums and also on qq sites like quora etc

If they are targeted leads, you should be able to make money from them. And when you do, use that money to spend on traffic. It will be worthwhile.

If you do not have money, then you need to spend more time.

How did you manage to generate that 100 leads? Tweak your pages to increase those conversions and focus on mastering that method you used to generate 100 leads.

Successful campaigns are not built overnight.

I get about 50 opt ins a day from free traffic. I believe it's because I focus on creating things of value :-)

Laws vary from country to country. Also, i find it really absurd when people ask questions and then disappear. What i mean is that people come here to help, why never respond to their questions.

Add the link to the ebook to all your social media accounts that will pay for your ads to build a bigger list. So in effect you are building your list but it is paying for itself.

Paid traffic will give you faster results. However I can see that you are enterprizing and have created a list of 100 people. Stick with what is working for you already and reinvest what you make into paid traffic
