Best software for mass e-mailing?

What do you guys use to send out e-mails to your lists? I remember reading a thread on here about these programs but I can't find it..

Let's say i got a list of about 50,000. What software would be best for emailing all these people at once? The cheaper the better ofcourse

50,000 Email subscribers? I think you are going to spam them.

Random spam doesn't make any money.
If you really have this huge email list, then you should use any reputable service like aweber. Yes, you are going to pay them every month but it's nothing in compared with what you will make.

Think a gain buddy and don't spam people because it is going to make you banned from networks.

Note *: Almost Mass E-mailing software requires SMTP server and iam sure this server will be marked as a big spammer.

I don't have a 50k list, but that's the goal! I'm getting started with building e-mail lists so i want to know how to do it properly and what software/service to use in order to send out e-mails to everyone.

What i'm confused about from all your answers is do i need to use the same service/software to build the list and to e-mail people or do i use 1 thing to build the list and then import it into some program that will do the e-mailing?

I would avoid building a list over 50,000 using a hosted solution like Aweber. If you choose to go with them, make sure you read the TOS back and forth, up and down before mailing - if you do one thing wrong you risk your entire business and they will terminate you without allowing you to download your data so make sure you do daily backups.

It does it all in the same service.

Here are some tutorials on how to use AWeber:

          How To Videos and Walkthroughs

Don't worry too much about problems you may face in the future, until you actually get there. AWeber is very stable, and great for Internet Marketers.

Going to have to agree with Captainhass - be careful about blasting to your list - if it goes into spam - you stay in spam...

If you have an auto-responder (such as Aweber, MailChimp or Get Response) and use it to build your list, you can send broadcast emails to the list you've built. I personally use Aweber for list building and mailing to my lists and am a really satisfied customer.

If you're lazy you'll sign up for Aweber (Email Marketing Software & Email Marketing Services from AWeber - clean link, no affiliate).

If you want to host your own I'd recommend InterSpire (Shopping Cart Software | Ecommerce Software - Interspire - clean link). You'll need someone knowledgeable in Linux to pull this off. They'll have to setup a DKIM and other things like that for your domain name.

I'm not sure why you'd want to go self hosted unless you bought the list yourself because Aweber certainly won't let you import 50,000 ids on your own without all 50,000 reconfirming.

I'm using aweber. icontact and getresponde, but in all of those services i can't send a broadcast without sanding confirmation mail to subscribers first.
Anybody knows a good mail service (except mailchimp) to send mails without the need for confirmation mail (it's not a big list, max 200 subscribers list)? (the mailing list is not a spam)

Try sendblaster.com this is one of the better solutions for mass emailing. Aweber is only good for building and sending to your built lists, its not a good solution if your list is outside of the aweber platform.

My absolute favourite is Aweber, but MailChimp are also decent and I believe are free too, all though I have not used them personally. Aweber have loads of great features and the price is pretty good too.

Common, 50k list spammer? Spammers sending 2-10 mil messages per HOUR.

daily anywhere between 500 mil - 1.2 bil.

That's how you make money ($5-$20+k/day) with it.. Expenses also high..

Even sending 1 million random emails via Sp*m will not

cover your expenses unless you can inbox AOL.. So, I won't call him a spammer, definitely not.

I am constantly amazed (at least once per week) that this same question keeps getting asked over and over again on this forum. Even though it has been asked so often the answers are generally the exact same. Aweber and Get Response always get the most positive recommendations.

So am I ... people, go out and LOOK for a good solution that will FIT YOUR NEEDS

Each and every autoresponder has different Terms Of Service and will allow or disallow different practices
they all have different pricing structures
They all have different features for automation and segmenting.
They all integrate with different apps, e-commerce solutions etcetera

Before you start a list ask yourself - WHY do you want a list?

What niche? What are you going to mail about? How are you going to build your list? How will you monetize the list?

How can you decide what tools to use when you don't even know your desired result? Or how can you expect any meaningful answers what tools to use if we don't know anything about your goals?
