When to introduce the 2nd lowest price product into your AR series?

HI All,

I have a sales funnel that starts at less then $10 and goes up to 5-figures.

When structuring my new autoresponder series I'm wondering at what point is it ok (if it's ok?) to introduce the idea of offering my next higher priced product to the customer?

Option as I see it are when hammering away at the subscriber with the entry level product over a 7 to 14 day time period are:
1) Introduce the idea of the upsell to in the MIDDLE of the email series
2) Introduce the idea of the upsell LATE in the email series
3) Don't introduce the idea at all and only try to get the sale of that under $10 price

The third option doesn't make sense to me because if after 7 to 14 emails they still haven't bought the lowest priced item (which has very limited bells and whistles) then by all means they should be made aware of what other products are available to them to buy.

So what say you?

You have a problem most people have... You're too robotic in your thinking. There is no magic number or time frame here that's set in stone.

What you need to be doing is testing and have multiple interactions with your customers that delivers value which leads to the next logical step which is to buy the next product you have.

Thanks for dropping in here Mike, I appreciate it!

Yes, of course that makes perfect sense. What's the easiest way that it makes sense to test like this?

Set up multiple optin pages, 3 for example, and each one will get it's own unique AR sequence introducing the higher priced product in different sequences?

I just thought of a 4th way and that would be to let THEM make the choice as to which product they want to grab in every single individual email.

So for example the first P.S. could be the <$10 product and the second P.P.S could be the >$10 product

PM me if you have a list 50k list or more of buyers in the IM space for an evergreen high converting product at a high price point.

How long is your auto-responder sequence?

From your first post it seems it could be very short. In all honesty you will probably put most people off with that much selling.

A quote I like from Derek Halpern (paraphrased) - "I don't sell much, but when I do I go big".

I'm planning a sequence anywhere from 10 to 14 emails.
