is it possible to sell products to a list about " how to grow your list" ?

hello members , i was wondering if it is possible to build a list targeted to list building itself , and to actually be able to monetize it ? and if that is possible , what kind of products would i try to sell them ??
best regards, Amine .

Yes, it is. And many Warriors have done exactly this.

Given the enormous competition in all IM-adivce-related niches, and the fact that the marketers with whom you'd inevitably be competing for the same traffic include some very successul, experienced, expert ones (as well as a larger number who have very little idea what they're doing but have still alienated and jaded the potential recipients in this niche and decreased their tolerance), I'd say you'd need to know enough about it not to need to ask this question!

Not very helpful of me; sorry .

Let's see if I can do a little better: the obvious things that spring to mind are (i) courses and other information products about list-building, (ii) autoresponder service subscriptions, (iii) self-hosted autoresponder software, and (iv) other ancillary products/services that people starting to do their own email marketing might also need. there's plenty to promote.

To benefit from the advantages that email marketing offers, you'll need a very professionally-written autoresponder series of your own, to pull it off and maintain credibility, needless to say. It's a classic case of "watch and copy", isn't it?

If the knowledge of listbuilding is why they are on your list, why not?

    Hi Amine,

    Yes that's definately possible!
Just one thing to remember: it's always good to segregate your lists. Listbuilding is a big niche, so it wouldn't hurt to build list especially for this niche, and send promotion for listbuilding offers just to that list.

As for products, just think of the products you need, and benefit you when you are building your list. The easiest products to promote are the products you use yourself.

    Good luck!
    Jens

The truth of the matter is that there are a lot of people online who are new and have a hard time to generate leads for their lists or even prospects to their MLM opportunity. There is a large demand for this so if you sell this info to them, they will buy.

      Alexa Smith cracks me up...

      Got me giggling.

      OP...

If you get people on your list by giving away for example "Free Squeeze Page"

I am certain they would buy list building type stuff.

Now whilst I've gotten results from doing that...

I also find it's important to find out EXACTLY what a majority of your list wants... (an if you're advance do list segmentation)

      Here's what I mean

I don't like ice in my drink but, there are only a few restaurants that ask if I want ice or not...

Most of the time I have to tell them (extra work for me lol)

If they did ask, they'd provide a more valuable service and subconscious I'd probably like them more over other restaurants

That's my preference and most people make assumptions on what people want

Imagine what would happen gave and sold your list what they prefer? :-)

thank you guys for your kind answers ^^
i looked up alot of threads lately talking about list building and i really learned alot of stuff :p

the do not in list building :
1- target young people (children ) as they are most probably non buyers !
2- target only freebie seekers, they'll cost u money and its hard to convert them to buyers

not to wht u shld (normally :p as i have learned ) do :
1 - narrow ur audiance as much as u can , you will have a better list if you are focusing on solving one problem.
2 - do a research on what u want to promote to your list before starting to actually build it
3- the best thing u can ever do is to create your own product to promote, that way u will build a list of buyers
4 - put an offer on your thank you page, it won't make you a fortune, but it will help you cover the basic costs of your list building campaign.

probably all of you know this already , i just wanted to contribute to the community

one other thing : search and learn every day ! but TAKE ACTION the moment u can, as they say : practice makes perfect :p

thank u guys again ( couldnt find the thank you button :/ ), i'm really having a nice time learning from your posts and comments ^^

      Sounds like a plan dude

Keep at it... well done on your 5 post

      2. You can do research on your list too.

Getresponse has a feature to survey your list or alternatively you can use survey monkey or wufoo forums ? it think

By the way I believe this to be the step the most overlooked step...

Eben and Frank both understand there market really well... that's why they smash it every time.

it's that one thing creates fortunes and if you miss it you'll burn your list ultra fast.

I have done this many times PLEASE learn from my mistakes LOL

--- So i'd like to add this extra point.

You are building a list of REAL people. Treat them how you would like to be treated and you'll need way less subscribers to make a lot of money.
