List Swap | Ad-Swaps?

I am starting a new niche and don't have a list at all. I hear about sites like ad-swaps and other similar sites.

Not sure how these really work but to me it seems like I use someone else's list for a fee. Is this correct and if so ...

What is the most recommended list share site to use?

Also what are Solo Ads. I'm a little confused on this whole thing...

Thank you!
Ryan

When you use someones list for a fee it's a solo ad. The list owner is sending your swipe file or the one he is writing for you to his list. It looks then like a personal recommendation. Most of the time solo ad vendor sell different click packages like 50,100,200 and so on.

Another thing are email swaps because you will nee some kind of a list already with a few subscribers. Most of the time are 100 subscribers already enough to start swaps. It's quite simple you find a list owner on safe swapes for example with the same list size like yours than you tell him how many clicks you can send and yeah you are going to send his mail to your list and he is doing the same with his list.

Best to start with a List of 500 , imho.

Also with Solo Ads you get the best results if you narrow down your Niche and get specific.
(i.e. "Make $100 a day as a newbie in IM " is NOT as good as "How to make $100 with Facebook PPC." )

The narrower you get the more targeted your List is and the better quality which ultimately leads to better conversions of your product.

Solo Ads can be simply defined as paid traffic.

You find someone who is selling, let's say 100 clicks...

You pay them, and they send the 100 clicks to your squeeze page.

In the process, it's best to have a tracker to see how many clicks, optins, and sales come through

If you want to build your list and sell your services, make sure you have the setup correct. Here's something you could do:
-> Create a free report about how seo articles work and add a case study to the report to show the results.
This will increase your conversions a lot.

After that you can buy solo ads from reputable sellers and start doing swaps to grow your list.

Yeah, I just want to warn about solo ads...

Most people never make money from it so they end up having to sell solo ads themselves.

Whilst selling solo ads is a quick and easy way to make money it doesn't last for most people.

I spoke to someone yesterday who could only get 15 clicks from 3000 subscriber list.

Meaning he burned his list from selling solos

Where as I can get 55% open rates and 17% Click throughs on a 500 list

That particular email I sent got 56 clicks. This is a list in the personal development market and most of those leads was from a solo ad.

I can squeeze way more clicks from that 500 list if I wanted too and actually make more than what people make selling Solo ads.

So my warning to you is:

Only buy solo ad's if you know how to convert people in to buyers and you have done your research on the vendor who is selling the solo ads.

Solo ads can be great but NOT for people who don't know how to create a funnel or build a relationship with their list.

If you're planning to sell solo ads... then make sure you do it right.

There are plenty of ad swap groups on Facebook and Skype - you just have to be determined enough to find them and get started.

And you don't need a huge email list to swap either - I know this for a fact because I am the admin of two of those groups. One well established, the other new.

As for solo ads - simply put, you pay someone to mail on your behalf, promoting something of yours.

If your niche is SEO, ask solo providers what their lists are interested in and see if it matches what you need.

You can even research SEO product creator and approach them about mailing for you.

Don't solicit people like that on this forum, though, as I believe that is against TOS.

Solo Ads are all about building a list and sending emails to the list.

The trick is building your list correctly and making sure your list has subscribers who are interested in your niche ie.internet marketing, make money from home but if you wanted to go deeper into the niche create a sales funnel related to that niche so you know who joins are interested in your niche.

I would recommend checking out safeswaps.com

Safeswaps is good if you have a list to do an adswap with, Udimi is where you can buy Solo ads, both services used to be on the safeswaps website, but now they are seperated it into two websites.

This forum is for discussion, swap requests can be placed in other parts of the forum. You can try the JV forum or post a classified ad.

To start getting traffic from your solo ad buys and make sales, there is a learning curve, like every other traffic source and like everything in life.

I'd suggest you start learning from someone you trust because you could end up with a dead list that never open your emails. Plus there are many dodgy sellers. You need to buy from trusted vendors only.

    All the best,
    Franck

I think the best way to start ad swapping by using safe-swaps.com they are good enough but it's a paid platform. Start Ad swapping with a list size of 1000 is good.
