Developing a Large Following Featuring Johnny Carlson

alot of time we as markets forget that there are people on the other end of those computer screens. People more than anything are looking for a way out of the norm, they are looking for a way to escape even if only for a few moments.

if you can be that source of a way out than those people will "need" you. They will seek out your emails podcasts and they will more importantly buy your products.

to Paraphrase Matt Furry " aim to inspire, entertain, and motivate"

to tie this all to Johnny Carlson, he embodied the vary traits I am talked about above. Rather it was his personal life, pop culture, or political he always tied it up with what he was trying to do - entertain.

I don't know how to embedded but ill post a link to a great Johnny Carlson documentary its long but you will get a strong sense of what it means to create a ' cult' following

    We all start somewhere.

    The great thing about large followings, is that they almost always begin as small followings.

    Then, throughout the course of the connections you build with your small following, loyalty starts setting in. This usually leads to word-of-mouth growth too.

    So if you are looking to build a massive following - which is noble - remember that it starts with two people, you and your first fan.

    And it can only get better from there.

      That is a fantastic point. I often think to myself that I only have a few fans here and there. Thanks for the reminder that everyone starts with just a few.
