best way to build traffic?

I am new and just starting my list building. I am mainly focusing on craigslist right now. Before I start the paid traffic I would like some in sight on some paid traffic sorces. Does penny traffic really work and if so what sites are the best? And if I shouldnt waste my time on that what other sites can I go on to get paid traffic which has high quality traffic? Thanks for your in sight!

    you get what you pay for.

    what ever you do there needs to be based on social proof. Someone recommending you or your stuff.

    solo ads
    guest posts
    interviews
    click banking
    ad swaps

    these should be 1st on your list.

    after those comes:

    banner ads
    PPC

    anything you can pay for without it being based on social proof.

    and finally, the typical SEO type stuff

    article marketing
    Blogging
    social media

    basically the evergreen stuff that doesn't require you to put in any money. It will take a longer time get these going, but these will pay off forever.

    The traffic sources you will have the most success with, depend highly on what niche you are targeting and how your funnel is set up.

    A quick example:

    solo ads guest posts interviews click banking ad swaps
    these should be 1st on your list.
    Solo Ads, Click Banking and Ad Swaps might be a good option if you are targeting Beginner Internet Marketers. If you were targeting people with something like Acne, it may be difficult to find targeted solo ads.


    Could you give us a little more information on your Target Audience and Funnel setup?

      the easiest way to find solo ads in other niches, is too go to google and type in your niche blogs and see If they have an opt in for a list, if they have products for sale and or if they are willing to do ad swaps.

      you will be surprised at how many people are willing to monetize their lists if given the chance. Most out side of Im, weight loss, or investing dont know wtf solo ads are. You may also be able get a lower rate because of that.

      I prefer not to say what niche I am in, however I specializing in generating leads for client work. I have an affiliate offer as my "oto" then I send emails every week day, not selling anything other than working with me as a client.

      also of note, I don't hard sell to often, I send an email with info than give a soft call to action

    i also have a clicksure product that i get 300 Subscribers a week (not sales)

    I did safe-swaps.com subscription and it's the worst investment I ever did

      Bing PPC is an underutilized resource ,imo, you might check out.

      Much less strict especially when it comes to people in IM niche.

      Its a great alternative to Adwords.

    Link-building is hard, but it's not the only way to make traffic benefits in Google search results.
    When I first started SEO, link developing was not my powerful fit. Writing outreach e-mails frightened me, and I had little experience creating fantastic content. Instead, I targeted on the easy victories.

    I've had some great results with Facebook ads, if you are in a niche that is a little different you can target it so easily with so many options. Granted it does cost money but conversions are a lot more likely (IMO).

    The first comment hit the nail on the head. "You get what you pay for" so true...

    I have gotten y best results from free advertising...nothing beats it. It keeps you up there FOR EVER really. YouTube has worked great for me and I hardly touch it now somply because of the work I did over the year.

    The key is to stand out from you competition. Look at what other people are doing in your niche and then do something different.

    I have had some great results building lists via Facebook. I set up a new Facebook group, found 10 relevant articles that I posted on my page. I set up a small Facebook paid ad's campaign designed to get people to "like my page". I update the Facebook page about 5 times a week with relevant and interesting articles. I ask people for their comments. I also ask them to go to my website and then sign up for my list. I have also integrated Aweber into Facebook.

    This process whilst simplified above has worked really well for me.

    I would say Solo Ads, Ad Swaps, Click Banking, PPC, Facebook Ads and YouTube as Dave has mentioned.

    It depends on what your niche is. Do you have a squeeze page with a free offer.

    If you are going to pay for traffic you need a plan and need to track what you spend your money on.

    SEO is still #1 activity online to earn money. Create niche microwebsites & workhard to rank them in google & put your affiliate links & ADS on that websites. From this you will earn in long run too.
