I'm in the process of setting up some Autoresponders for my website, and was just looking to see how Autoresponders have worked for other people.

1. What has been your experience so far using Autoresponders?

2. Have these Autoresponders helped you increase conversions?

Autoresponders are good to build up that initial relationship with your list. Make sure they aren't too long...seven days or less is good.

In the AR series provide immense value to your subscribers and mix in some pitches in there. Have like a content, content, pitch, content, content mix of emails.

An autoresponder won't increase your conversions but it will make you money while you sleep... And that's what I love about it.
There are different strategies when it comes to how long the autoresponder sequence should be - anywhere from 3 to 365 emails - it really depends on how often are you planning to be sending broadcasts.
Bottom line - a definite must have for any online and even offline business!

I use two separate autoresponders. I use mainly Aweber for the majority of my email marketing business, which I have done for the past 6 years. But I have also recently set up an account with Getresponse to take advantage of Getsubscribers to build a list in a different way.

Aweber converts well for me, Getresponse has been much lower so far but it is very early days.
