List Building Question

Hey, I have a quick question I run an internet marketing blog and I have an opt in form there for people to subscribe and join my email list. Anyways I was wondering if I should send an email out sending them another squeeze page to sign up for my product and join that mailing list or should I just send them the offer and the sales page instead of getting them to resign up to another email list!? What would you do ?

i would rather send them the offer that send them another squeeze page. if you send them another squeeze page its like you have two campaigns in your autoresponder of a total of lets say 2000 subscribers but your list is actually a repetition. except the 2nd squeeze page is on a total different and unrelated niche. where you want to know how many of them are interested in that niche.

You would send them to the sales page of your offer since they are already on your email list.

Then those of your subscribers who purchased that product, should be re-directed to another squeeze page after buying, so that you can start building a second list of buyers only.

You can do this or set up an API automation so that all the buyers are added to your buyers list straight away without having to opt-in - this works with W+ and JVZOO, I'm not sure about other platforms.
Then you can add an option (I know it works in Get Response and Aweber) to automatically unsubscribe your buyers from your prospect list, when they are added to your buyers list. This way you won't have the same subscribers on both lists!
      Good luck

Having them opt in again will only hurt you. Filter them by people who buy if youre looking to segment your list. You want to minimize resistance unless there is a benefit, and in this case you would just be making it harder for people to buy your product. Put the copy directly in the email if possible too.

Send out the offer. If they buy, present them with another squeeze page before they access the product on the premise of sending them updates.

Set up your autoresponder so that when they sign up to the buyers' list they get removed from the free list.

Et Voila! You have a buyers' list.
