    1) Many email service providers block the images from the messages routed to your spam folder.

    2) You can't see the images used for tracking even if they aren't blocked. Usually such an image is a 1px x 1px transparent image.

Yes many of the emails hiting my spam folder have this notification on the top of my email when I open them. Most are Aweber's. I asked Aweber support b/c my test email goes to spam folder sometimes and have that notification from Yahoo.
      Support gave me this post:

There are 2 different cases, you don't have to mix them.

        1) If other marketers' emails land in your spam folder, that is THEIR problem. Their email messages have deliverability issues. Move on, there's nothing you can do except for marking "Not spam" the messages that you know that aren't spam. The spam filters will learn.

        2) If your own marketing message sent from your Aweber account to your own email address is routed to the spam folder, then THAT is indeed your problem. In order to solve it, I suggest that you learn how to improve the deliverability of your messages. Avoid blacklisted domain names, don't use hypey marketing words or expressions, clean your list frequently, etc.

I use Aweber and find their customer service very helpful, I would contact them and I am sure they can answer your question.

Thank you. But "this message contains blocked images" issue is not resolved with Aweber support. They don't seem to notice that. As Adrian said, I will try to maximize deliverability of my blasts.
