10,000 Highly Targeted List... Not Monetized

Okay so I have a list of 9,770 business school students/gradutes on Aweber.

When that hits 10,000, Aweber will charge me $169 per month!

My list is NOT monetized, and NEVER HAS been, other than the original One Time Offer ($97 ebook set) when they first opted in for my free eBook. I had very good response with that $97 one time offer, but then I've earned NOTHING from the list after that simply coz I didn't work on it.

(Yes, yes, I know you want to scold me for being 'lazy' LOL, but I really don't have much time since I also have a very busy "day job").

Is there any way to just sorta "load" or "install" a *set it and forget it* sequence of emails (content + affiliate offers mixed, maybe 80% content to 20% affiliate offers) into Aweber?

Since these are business school students/graduates, "entrepreneurship" content plus entrepreneurial affiliate offers (and maybe 20% of the offers could be IM) would be fine.

Absolutely. That's the whole purpose of an autoresponder. So you can set up a sequence of messages that will be delivered to your leads automatically.

Find some nice offers that are very relevant. Create at least a few weeks worth of emails that offer value and entertainment and mix some paid offers in there. So long as people are getting value and/or feel they are being entertained, they will continue to open your emails.

P.S. I can't believe they charge $169 for 10,000 leads nowadays. I'm still grandfathered in on their old pricing where I'm only paying $39 for just under 30,000 subscribers. That's a huge difference. Thank god I signed up all those years ago ;-)

      Yes it is expensive

I'm aware that I can 'create' a series of emails and offers, but I wonder if there's already some sort of "ready made" sequence of content and affiliate offers which I can upload just once, instead of my producing/creating/curating all of that from scratch

      Just hit me by PM!
My problem is that until now I don't really know how it works. I find it a complete pain just creating a new message on Aweber which I find to be extremely user un-friendly. So all the more, I don't even know how a "solo ad" would work... is it sent as a broadcast message or what? Is it an embedded ad inside an email?

      Sorry for my ignorance..

*One thing I cannot do, btw, is sell the list; as I promised in the opt in that I would not sell their emails to anyone (not referring to you ShareLead)

Yes - that's exactly what autoresponders are for.

Your list is potentially worth a lot of monthly income to you, if you handle it wisely and carefully. Aweber's $169 per month is a drop in the ocean compared with what you might be able to earn from a list like that who are your own genuine subscribers.

It sounds like you need to familiarize yourself, in detail, with "how Aweber works"?

There's a lot of information on Aweber's site, of course, and this might also help: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...nder+tutorials

I'm confident that they remember because:

      1) I have a very unusual unique (extreme) name, and

      2) I do send them broadcast updates/freebies once in a very small while, like when I launch a new Youtube video or when I launched my book on Amazon (became an Amazon 'bestseller' but I don't consider that monetizing coz it was only 99 cents and commission 33 cents; I just did it for reputation)

In those cases in #2 above, I got only 3 to 5 spam complaints out of 7,000 to 8,000 emails sent; so well within Aweber's rumored "allowable" 1/1000 complaints.

However, ever since Gmail's "promotions" tab, I only get around 600 opens out of the 9,000 or so emails sent (Any suggestions about that?)

I started building the list around 3 years ago, so the average age of subscriber is around 1.5 years I guess..
