create the ebook in MS Word. You can cloak your links by using tinyurl or bitly. Plus you can use an image or just a text word creating a hyperlink in your doc,

Then convert your .doc into a PDF .... you can bury all sorts of ads and other stuff inside to make your ebook more like a website...

Microsoft Word, that's probably the biggest way people make this happen. Thanks for the info!

If you use Open Office, you can directly export to PDF. With links.

Be sure to track your links - run them to your website through Pretty Link - then if you want to change where the links go (even on ebooks long since distributed) you can do so...

Yes... it's 100% free. I don't use Powerpoint, and I understand that Open Office' version of Powerpoint is called "Impress" doesn't have the power of Powerpoint... but the spreadsheet is easily the equal of Excel, and the 'Writer' is just as powerful as Word.

So unless you need Powerpoint presentations - Open Office is certainly a way to go... plus, I've always despised the constant shift everyone's been making toward 'ribbons'... Open Office has resisted it.

        Give it a try!

I know there is a place on the internet called online-convert.com.

They allow you to convert all sorts of files into other files right online and they are free to use.

So if you have the Microsoft word doc and you don't have open office you can try to convert it to a PDF there.

Keep it simple! Use MS Word, copy paste the link as a naked link or on a hyperlink.
While saving it, publish it as a PDF ( from the File Menu)
