it's not good idea! you should think about readers. They must signup in your email list. otherwise you can't be successful.
think about people , they think about you.
by the way, you can use Open EEM . its an open source email marketing software that you can install it on your server. or you can use mailchimp or aweber.

Hi thx for the reply. These services work with pre refined lists or existing subscribers. I have a lot of raw data that i have gathered from various websites relevant to my market. They are not subscribers. How do i proceed if i have to refine the existing raw data

You cannot just go on websites and collect user emails. Usually auto responders have very low tolerance to spamming, and if you send mass email to those contacts and lets say 7% report you as spam, you can be kicked out.

Another question to ask yourself, do you really planning on building trusting relationship with you subscribers by obtaining their emails without their permissions.

officially your are spamming if your are emailing them as a business and they have not given you permission, this is against international law!

but if i where you i would use a bulk mailer like sendblaster, and send them to a squeezepage so that they can become REAL legit subscribers....

keep in mind though, because your mailing is not permission based, your conversions will be super low, mostly because your mail will end up in spam folders

otherwise marketing online would be really simple... i can use my scraper tool and get a million email adresses from any site whenever i want, it is just mostly a waste of time

      good luck

Some of the people replying above have not read the thread and appreciated that these people aren't subscribers.

That completely precludes all possibilities of using any services like Aweber, Mailchimp or GetResponse to send email to these people.

Indeed, it may be very difficult to do at all.

In theory, as long as they're not email addresses "scraped" from the web, and as long as everything else you do is completely compliant with the Can-Spam act, it may be possible to use a self-hosted autoresponder to contact them, but it certainly won't be without some risks, even so. If you are getting a lot of website traffic, I'd recommend using Unbounce in conjunction with Aweber to increase incoming subscribers.

If you are performing outbound e-mail marketing, my favorite is Streak CRM and Rebump.CC

I'm using Aweber. It's still good so far. But I gonna try GetResponse since the fee is so cheap.

getresponse, aweber and also emailaces our choices.

There is no one better tool, as long as you can get people on your database easily and its easy to log in fast and send a nice email to alot of people you will make sales.

its more about the relationship you have, many marketers think one tool is better than the other, but that is false they all do the same thing, and the main ones mentioned are pretty much the same.

Having used several (Mailchimp, Aweber, GetResponse) I'd recommend either GetResponse or Aweber. GetResponse is what we use and we're really happy with it. There's a good comparison of GetResponse and some of the other popular email marketing tools here that may be useful.
