How much do you earn for each subscriber per month?

So Warriors,

For each subscriber you have, how much do you earn from them per month?
I heard people saying they earn a dollar for each subscriber and so on
I'm new to email marketing so I need to know how much on average it makes

    As a so-called "average" (as often claimed), it's a complete fiction.

    The reality is that (a) this information isn't collated anywhere, so there isn't even a way to estimate it, and (b) "averages" are pretty much meaningless when the arithmetical relationship between the parameters from which they'd be calculated is a non-linear one (as is typically the case in email marketing, for all kinds of reasons, some fairly easily understandable and others far from it).

    There really isn't a average payout per subscriber per month. It all depends on things like size of list, niche of the list, relationship with the list, if they are freebie seekers or a buyers list.

    There are too many variables to just go and say $1 per subscriber per month.

    Very interesting way of looking at it. I never though of looking at it in a per subscriber way. I just focus on getting very targeted leads into my list. My campaign does all the conversion for me.

        The old, earn $1 per subscriber is old school... if you are really on your job you can earn way more than that per subscriber.

        But what good is it having a list of 1000 people, and you don't email them consistently. Will you earn $1000 per month? No.

        So think in terms of relationship with your list and being a trusted advisor. And be entertaining. You can make more than $1 per month per subscriber.

        Email consistently too... otherwise they'll forget about you and say you're spamming them.

        Stay away from trying to teach too much. Teachers don't make all the money... entertainers do.

    Hey Joe,

    Let's do some math so you know how to figure this one out...

    Say your front end product (or the product you are offering upfront to subscribers) is at $50...

    Then say we launch a facebook PPC ad campaign for a week and your budget is say $100. and you're bid per click is say $0.5...

    Over a week, you've paid for 150 clicks and out of this you've got about 50 subscribers.

    So...

    $0.5x 150 (clicks) = $75

    Then out of 150 clicks about half (75) signed-up... and out of the 75 that signed up about 15 people purchased your product.

    So...

    15 people x $50 (price of your product) = $750

    And...

    $750 (total sales) / 75 (subscribers) = $10/subscribers

    So for every $0.5 you spent on a click you make $9.5 based on our example. So now you how to determine how much you make for each subscribe.

    Of course, the value will vary on a case to case basis. But this is how you do it.

      I don't think that out of 75 people, 15 would purchase, more like 3 if I'm lucky.
      However, what kind of good affiliate offers do you promote (internet marketing niche)?
      I can't find any good ones to promote, I already have a list of 400+ and none has purchased any of the products I sent them

        Oh it is just to show how you can calculate the worth of each of your subscriber. Yes, 3 would be a break even.

        I'm into MOBE. But honestly, I'm more concern on the learning part of things as I am quite new to this. Not trying to make money right away but figuring out what works and what doesn't.

        That way I can devote my time and money investing on what matters most ----> experience.

        It's time to look at "what you're doing wrong", Joe.

        Starting off in IM/MMO-related niches is the single commonest mistake that beginning marketers make, and the single biggest reason for their failures.

        The one thing that's certain, if you start off with niches related to IM and/or MMO, is that you'll be competing for the same traffic with some of the world's most experienced, most professional, most successful and best-funded marketers, and even when you attract subscribers, they'll mostly be people who are already on multiple other marketers' lists, so you'll still be competing directly with experts, regarding your doubtless-fledgling marketing skills, too.

        You can change all that, any time you want to        .

        You're somewhere between 10 and 100 times as likely to make money in a niche like "making wine at home", or "skating videos", or "decorating children's bedrooms ceilings" as you are by promoting IM-related products/services. There are reasons for that, and they're reliable and valid reasons, too, which will apply to you just like they do to everyone else.
