Question About : Non Buyer-Subcribers Tracking...

Hi,
Thank you for taking time to check my thread.
Let say i send 100 people to my squeeze page for a free eBook, 40% of them sign up and from that 40 people 20% buy my main product which related to the free eBook.

so Now, i have : 40 emails and 8 buyers. i want to send sequence emails to those 32 non buyers via 3 emails to convince them to buy .

My Question: how do i know from my auto-responder provider (i have Mailchimp) those 32 people ? i don't want to send these 3 emails to the 8 buyers since the list will have 40 subscribers .

P.S : the 100 people is only an example.

Thank you

The normal thing would be to add the 8 buyers to a separate "buyers' list" (which can be automated), either removing them from the original list of 40 or not, as you prefer.

Only 3 emails? Well ... ok ... (so it sounds like you want to remove the 8 from that list, after putting them on a buyers' list, then?).

What you're asking about sounds like a perfectly normal thing to be doing, to me.

I'm wondering whether that's the problem, here? (And, to be honest, whether that's a wise decision to start with, anyway?) ...

Mailchimp not to be used for internet marketing?
    Mailchimp warnings.

    Hi Alexa,
Thank you for your answer. the 100 people was only as an example but what if they were 1000s of them, it will be very hard to go through all the emails and separate non-buyers subs from buyers subscribers.

You mentioned : (to a separate "buyers' list" (which can be automated) ), Can you explain more please ?

    Thanks

A way to do this is to use mailchimp API (after a successful sale delete the mail that maked sale from the main list and add it to another list with api actions)

Or the equivalent with any other autoresponder.

Preferably a proper one. You might well decide that Mailchimp is one to stay well away from, for all the reasons explained in these threads ...

If you make a sale you can make them opt in to another list, and use an automation rule to unsubscribe from one list if they subscribe to your buyers list.
