So it looks like AWeber is currently $194 for a year subscription with 500 subscribers or less. And an extra $10 a month on top of that for 501-2500 subscribers and so on.

Affordable Email Marketing from AWeber | Price Your AWeber Account

Does anyone know any ways - coupon codes, alternate places to buy, any other possible way - to bring that price down?

    Nope.

It's the cost of doing business.

But your online income should more than cover the cost of your Autoresponder.

If you want to get it for free... just purchase a good Autoresponder script, and put it on a dedicated server, and start learning how to keep your IP's whitelisted.

Aweber (and, for that matter, Getresponse) doesn't need to offer discounts... they're going to get your business anyway. Or you simply don't have a business...

I find the price quite reasonable compared to what you can earn with their service...

Actually GetResponse offers discounts, huge discounts. They just offered a 40% off discount.

And I'm pretty sure I've heard of some alternate label ways of getting AWeber at a discount. So I don't know if you're right.

There are many email service providers out there all competing with each other. So offering better pricing and discounts is a way to try to win your business to their service instead of the others. You may have to have an email list, but they know you can choose another company over them with all the choices out there.

Anyone else have any other info on this?

This encourages you to keep a high quality list instead of a low quality huge list

I wouldn't live a day without my autoresponder even if they raised the price

This thread is getting off topic.

Email providers do offer discounts and deals. That is a fact. I know I can get discounts with many of the providers, but, for various reasons, I want to use AWeber.

Does anyone know of any such discounts, deals or alternative ways to bring the price lower on AWeber than the prices I listed in the original post? That's really all I want to know here. Thanks.

Aweber gives discounts only to non-profit institutions and students, I believe.

There may be affiliates who offer some kind of "cash-back/voucher incentives", but for myself, I'd probably want to be sure that they're not breaching Aweber's terms of service before subscribing through any of their links.
