Would You Still Buy Solo Ads for Your Internet Marketing Related Product?

I've been into this MLM product for a while and I've built my list 90% through solo ads offer. Right now I've got over 1000 subscribers. I've been broadcasting (twice a week) on top of the email series that is set 1-2 days apart.

Open rate for email series is around 2%... broadcast is roughly 4-6% open rate.

There have been replies here and there... queries here and there... but no sales at all! I feel that my list is an overly beaten one, IMO.

Of course, I will be trying out other forms of traffic source in the future.

I just want to know your thoughts on this? If you can suggest one that

Well, the thing about MLM products is that the market become saturated quickly and people that are on different lists are often reciving the same offers day in and day out.
The best way to create a good relationship with your list is by creating a product - your buyers will be 10x more responsive comparing to any list build through solo ads!
    Good luck

Call me a skepchick, but in my opinion, the combination of "MLM", "solo ads" and "broadcasts" is never particularly likely to be conducive to achieving - let alone to maintaining - a good open-rate. (That's not necessarily to say that it can't ever be profitable, of course.)

How do actually do that? I've been religiously broadcasting my list. Sharing tips, advice and even ranting.

Before you think about the product, ask them what they want. Once they tell you, you create it and sell them.

It's simple to do: You send an email with the subject:

    I need your help!

What is your biggest frustration with [your niche]?

What is your biggest challenge with [your niche]?

Many of your subscribers will reply. The next thing you want to do is to reply to those emails.

Then, according to what they tell you, you can start, or ask even more questions. You can also sell them a coaching program via email (I've sold $997 program with 3-4 emails) or the phone.

    Take care,
    Franck

You know what you've just added to my current idea. I'm gonna do this right now and broadcast to my list. Hoping to get something out of it.

      Cheers,

        Hey Anthony,

I'm glad I was able to give you an idea!

BUT...I just re-read your first post and saw a really BIG problem. You said something, this is one of the most important reasons people fail at building lists and give up (this happened to me in the past, and I was wondering: what's the...?).

You said: "I've built". This should be: "I'm currently building". To make it with list building, you want to add new subscribers to your list every single day. It can be 20, 50, 100, 200 subscribers daily, it doesn't matter, but you need fresh subscribers. This is the reason for your low open rates. Yes.

Plus open rates in your autoresponder are not very accurate. It's better to track clicks with your own software.

        Take care,
        Franck

Have you ever thought about spacing your Follow ups and Broadcasts farther apart ?

This can sometimes directly affect Open Rates. Niot always but sometimes.

Maybe put them at twice a week.

Also, I think Frank makes a valid point......you need to concentrate on building your List each and everyday.

Think of it as a Marathon. And everlasting marathon to be accurate

    You are never done !!

    Is it tough ??

Of course, and that is precisely the reason why so many fail ..which in a way is good because it means less competition for you and me

Hammering your list is a sure fire way to backfire on you and produce the opposite effect you desire. Instead when promoting an MLM in order to stand out from the crowd, show you know your stuff by providing valuable and actionable content. Show your subscribers that you are really their for them and if they see that they will be more interested in opening your emails and seeing what you have to offer. People buy from those they like and trust.
