Small list now what !

Hi

I have been running a free membership site and have collated about 500 email addresses in 2 weeks, this goes up by about 20 a day.

Is there a way to sell this list? Any ideas and cost??

    That's not so small.

    Why are you asking for ways to sell it rather than ways to monetize it?

    Do all the subscribers give their consent, while signing up, for their email addresses to be sold? If they don't, there isn't a legal way for anyone else to use it anyway, besides which it might not have much/any value to anyone else?

      LOL. I know right. Why would this guy want to sell? Why not offer a solo or swap?

      You can make a couple of hundred at the very least from that list mate. Please build a relationship with your audience and offer them awesome solutions. A small list can be pretty kick-ass if you market to it right.

      If they know you - THEY WILL BUY. If they like you - THEY WILL BUY. If they love you - THEY WILL TELL A FRIEND TO BUY.

    As the user above me said don't sell it that is illegal.

    What you want to do is monetize your list. You can start using your list to promote affiliate products that are relevant to your niche or better yet you can create your own product to sell to them.

    If you are harvesting people's email addresses and information without their explicit permission, then it would be illegal in most countries.

      But do you have their permission to sell their emails? I'd be furious if you sold my email to someone else and lately I've begun to start to consider selling solo ads as the same bad thing. When I sign up for your list I want to hear from you. I don't want to you to sell my email to anyone and I don't want you to sell the rights for anyone to advertise to me. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

      These poor people trusted you with their email, if you betray that trust and start to hit them with ads or messages from other people it's a bad thing. Not only (probably) illegal - depending on what they agreed to but certainly unethical and some would say even immoral.

    It was a question I did not say I would do it- hence the question on the forum.

    So, I now have 500+ fresh leads for a niche, I do not have aweber etc- is there a way to bulk email without paying a monthly fee??

    Yes, you can do that with a self hosted autoresponder, you can pay as you go with pay per email fees. Just find a good one in Google.
